Why 3Dmax give me this error?

...It gave you the error because the shadow mesh is not a closed volume  ;D :P

 

Make sure there aren't any holes in objects using a shader for shadows. Weld verts, use cap holes, make a whole new mesh, etc

Go to one mesh and use the attach function
