Jarmen Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 (edited) I would like to add some turrets as well as an animation of a propeller spinning to my space models. Before I go and try to figure this out, I was just wondering if this is possible to do this in space? If this can be done, can a turret be a destructible hard point? Also, I know how to make an animation, I was just wondering how I would go about having that animation play all the time while in space. Edited July 6, 2007 by Jarmen
Droid803 Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 They're all possible, for FoC at least, the turrets have been done by a LOT of people already.Turrets as destructible hardpoints are not possible in EaW. The animations are possible for all. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v423/kc1991/droid803sig.jpg"That was fun"
shak4l 01 Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 http://www.petroglyphgames.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=1691 Moving turrets tutorial...once you'll make them 1st time, you'll be good at this.
Lord_of_the_Sith Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 Hmm in FOC there are already many mods especially the Avenger's ISD vs Venator which has added moving turrets to ships.
Nomada_firefox Posted July 21, 2007 Posted July 21, 2007 Looking the tutorial I do not see problems more problem to add them on EAW than on FOC. "Nada escapa a mis dominios".Clan Nomada Web Site FirefoxCCMods Web Site (Only www.FirefoxCCMods.com is a English web site).
Droid803 Posted July 21, 2007 Posted July 21, 2007 Trust me, turrets as hardpoints don't work on EaW. The engine does not read the line of code that says and therefore it will not work.I've tried it, Lots of other people tried it, if you want to try it go ahead http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v423/kc1991/droid803sig.jpg"That was fun"
Nomada_firefox Posted July 21, 2007 Posted July 21, 2007 Oh, I do not go to try, it would be too work. I only was thinging why not and I wait a good answer about if somebody have tried it on eaw.
