Empireftw Posted June 28, 2007 Posted June 28, 2007 Well the quarians look interesting i have a feeling you will see alot of them on your missions. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a245/loverdog/pffuserbar2.jpg
Mikan Cyclone Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 Actually, probably not. They were scattered EVERYWHERE after the Geth incident, and probably won't make but a few cameos. Same with Krogans, they were virtually wiped out when they raged war against the Citadel http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a245/loverdog/pffuserbar1.jpghttp://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i276/At-At_controller/leetspeak4cz1jr.gif
Empireftw Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 Thing is they created the main bad guys in the series so it would seem that in order to wipe out the geth you would need help from the creators of the geth but that is just my theory. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a245/loverdog/pffuserbar2.jpg
Droid803 Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 IF the quarians could have defeated the geth, they would have already and they wouldn't have been scattered everywhere... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v423/kc1991/droid803sig.jpg"That was fun"
Grand Admiral Thrawn 889 Posted July 3, 2007 Author Posted July 3, 2007 Well this is the first game in a three game series so who knows what is going to happen. i think that im going to Avoid confrontations with the Geth at least at first. I dont think that the Quarians should be punished.I think it was a misunderstand that probably started the war with Tuarians and Earth. Krogan Questions. Most interesting part of anatomy. Redundant Organs. No the use of the Bioweapon against them was not justified. Yes, i would have Wrex in my party, i need all the firepower i can get. (although depends on the mission.) http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n292/Admiral_Antilles/Thrawncopy.jpghttp://img525.imageshack.us/img525/3269/pffuserbar2globalmodnx9.jpg I Support the Resistance!
Mikan Cyclone Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 Quarians were trying to better the galaxy. It's punishment enough that they were virtually wiped out. It WAS a misunderstanding that caused the First Contact War. The humans went into Turian space, tried to establish hailing frequencies but couldn't; the Turians only saw unknown armed ships, and decided to have a pre-emptive strike. Both sides suffered heavy casualities considering the shortness of the war. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a245/loverdog/pffuserbar1.jpghttp://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i276/At-At_controller/leetspeak4cz1jr.gif
Droid803 Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 Quarians were trying to better the galaxy. It's punishment enough that they were virtually wiped out. Yes, the Quarians didn't WANT to unleash a dangerous synthetic lifeform on the galaxy, their creations just suddenly decided to go hostile and kill stuff, if they knew that would happen they wouldn't have been scattered and basically wiped out. That IS punishment enough already. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v423/kc1991/droid803sig.jpg"That was fun"
Empireftw Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 Yes but maybe their is a central core or something that needs to be destoyed and they cant do it them selves so they enlist you to do so or something like that. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a245/loverdog/pffuserbar2.jpg
Grand Admiral Thrawn 889 Posted July 5, 2007 Author Posted July 5, 2007 that wouldnt work would it. Think about how many Geth there are... and the Geth have been away from that part of the Universe for Millenia thats more than enough time for the Krogan's or another species to be drafted to stop them that way. Remember Spectre is meant as a protection from them. If the answer was so easy the Citadel would have solved it. And theres the amount of power it would take to create a Subspace Emitter powerful enough to cover Billions of Lightyears. I think it will involve the killing of a Queen. (like the Borg.) But no the Quarians dont deserve anymore punishment. However, they should be questioned as to how the Geth became autonomous in the first place if that is understood then maybe the Galaxy will stand a chance. http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n292/Admiral_Antilles/Thrawncopy.jpghttp://img525.imageshack.us/img525/3269/pffuserbar2globalmodnx9.jpg I Support the Resistance!
Mikan Cyclone Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 The only problem is is that no one can find them. They just exist out in space in salvage ships. Also, killing a queen or destroying a core wouldn't necessarily DO anything. The Geth are sentient now, and while an individual may be just slightly smarter than a dog or something, in a group together they are more intelligent than all the galaxy's scientists thrown into one. The citadel TRIED to stop it before. When the Geth first appeared, the citadel sent some embassadors to try to establish peaceful contact. None returned. So, the Citadel sent the entire armada to the edge of Geth space, to wait for the inevitable attack. It never came, so they eventually just left them alone with only a small border patrol at Geth space. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a245/loverdog/pffuserbar1.jpghttp://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i276/At-At_controller/leetspeak4cz1jr.gif
