sound effects help

Does anyone know where I can download SW sound effects (such as shuttle flight sounds, shuttle landing sounds, X-Wing flyby sounds, y-wing flyby sounds, exiting hyperspace sounds, jumping to hyperspace sounds, etc.)

 

alternatively, does anyone know of a free program that can open SF2 files and convert their contents into WAV files?

I think that illegal, if i'm not mistaken...seeing that all of those sound effects would be property of Lucas Arts and Lucas Film.

nah, There are sites that let you download sound effects for free that are legal. Star Wars sounds are somewhat rare however. Ive looked for some when I make flash movies.

I don't mean ripped from the movie.

 

I mean close immitations. Or things like the fanfilm kit at starwars.com

Good luck, most people aren't going to bid against Lucas Arts, or for that matter any big company because they are all very territorial. Sorry.
