I'd rather fight the Rebels for their arrogance and because they think they are fighting for a "right" cause. Imperials aren't bad once you get passed George Lucas view of the Imperials. They are the good guys who have the Galaxy under control not chaos and free. If you see the Imperials being "evil" then learn the force the best you can in the game then attack the main boss (Palpy or Vader , GTA style or KOTOR). I wanna see Rebels dropping like flies when I attack them and see a proper Alliance formed. I should get a Stormtrooper squad of my own and destroy the damn plotline faction. And if there is a mode for secrets I want to be able to collect Force points and spend it on upgrades and gallery options.

easiest to kill! that armour does nothing but give a light bit of protection against blaster fire they have no mental hard ness and are easy to manipulate. not to meantion look funny when you throw them through walls.

Both really. Throwing people through walls look funny no matter who it is. Its just that the stormtroopers get stomped on most...I mean, they're just clones...didn't most people support the clones (and the republic-that-evolved-into-the-empire)?

That's why I liked the campaign in SWBF2...Shootin' Rebels as Stormies! the fun!

Basically the only game I've seen where the campaign does that...If in this one you're supposed to b vader's secret apprentice or something, it better be hacking rebels to bits! Otherwise its just another romanticized story >.>

I wish they would make a republic commando 2. Except you'd be a Imperial Commando and kill rebels. That'd be fun. sticking your wrist blade into the rebel's faces and there blood would spatter over your face plate then the windshield wiper thing would come and wipe it off.

I have a baad feeling that the Legacy of the Force series is being taken the wrong way. Or at least not how George Lucas sees it.

As for Force Unleashed, I am curious about how they'll be incorporating the alliance.

And if they'll incorporate Lumiya. Since she fills this "vader's apprentice" role perfectly.

Except the TIE Fighter series. and BF. and this game. Keep in mind that its hard to make a game where your character is a weakling (playable characters always have an advantage over NPCs).

There is no evil or good, its only a matter of point of view. What is good in the eyes of one side is evil in the eyes of the other.

Agree. I hate killing Stormtroopers. They are always depicted as stupid puppets when they are not. Stormtroopers are elite assault ones so.

The Empire is not evil. Is order and law to be considered evil? Fight against corruption and gangstar cartels is evil? During both the Old and New republic there was so much corruption everywhere. Fear some time is needed to ensure obedience. Is like saying we put autovelox on highways just ensure people don't go too fast.Is like the DS worked.

of course freedom is necessary but only if you don't go and kill other's. Empire would be the best choice for a united earth governement.

edit: Actually what I meant to say was that we should also be the Imperials because most games take the side of the "good guys". Its a movie cliche and a game cliche where the "good guys" always win. You should get better experience out of hunting the stealthy by going from planet to planet in the campaign Kotor style  : Ah whatever lets hear more of your thoughts.
