I don't know if that's even a final concept we're going for. I'd love to hear your suggestions about what we should do for the site. Something unique that isn't offered anywhere else.

oh yeah! love the new colors. But I think that the "Mini User center takes up a bit too much of the screen. But that button thing at the top is SHWEEET!

 

and we need a cool symbol or something at the top representing the site

yes it should. other the the mini user center(the blue doesnt go with the rest of the forum) i like this new theme. i also dislike the fact that my blue text is now unreadable. but i'll live the that

I do dislike the amount of space that the header takes, pretty much half-the-screen if anyone is at a height of 768/800 px. I'll try and see about reducing it.

 

If someone wants to, they can try making a better header image with some appropriate images (Star Wars something?)

Not sure I did any better with these changes. That Mini User Center still takes up a bit when you're logged in. I have to figure out what to take out and see if I can reduce it more. Better that the ad has moved to the top, for more wider posts

 

Tired of playing with it right now. It's tested alright in IE and Firefox. Sorry for those guys who use Safari, if it sucks.. well too bad

PFF is dieing post wise while Petroglyph is dieing topic creation, post spamming and noobish members wise. Its like watching the same paper saying "Boring games and UaW rant essay" everyday. Always the same game threads being posts and only the Xbox borgs post spewing the same crap constantly on Petroglyph Forums. We then get noobish topis like "Pepsi vs  Coca-Cola" for the 1 millionth time and any good threads get sunk to the next page. We have Petro devs ignoring their community and everytime PFF is mentioned they turn their heads in the other direction. They say they care but do they really? Well they do but they're also hiding something behind their backs.

 

I think the Petroglyph Community is dieing off if all we're getting are noobish posts and horrible threads on PF and silence over here. Well if it cracks before I can say anythings its been nice knowing you

Why would the devs care? We bought the game, we bought the ex pack, now we've done all we're good for. They're just in it for the money, they claim to care about the community in hopes that we'll buy UaW, but that's about it.

Is it just me who has spotted the irony of a supposedly dead forum, which has produced a 5 page thread debating whether or not it is dead, and what should be done about it. Clearly there is more activity than some slightly pesimistic people seem to think.

yeah, maybe thats true, some people don't post just because they don't find nothing to talk now that almost all the eaw community is dead you know... but at least we're not completely dead, as it has been stated before, better 2 or 3 post, than 100 spam posts

There's nothing more to say about Empire at War, and that's the only thing everyone would be interested in. No use creating threads about stuff that only one or two members would actually post in.

 

PFF is pretty dead, and when a forum is pretty dead there's nothing that can be done. I've seen this happen a hundred times.

Now that I think about it there is a lot to talk about such as the new Cloverfield movie or transformers the movie. How about someones trip to Europe or Asia or Australia? Maybe how some people think 2012 is gonna happen or not? Theres lots, people aren't trying hard enough. At least PFF is still alive. Spam thread? How is this a spam thread? Ah whatever every forum I go on dies for either stupidity or because people become lazy.
