Ya and people just leave as if they lost a war right? Nobody is doing much to gain people's interest back much. Fosh and C&C King tried to make a site but they can't agree on some stuff. Help the forest grow by planting seeds and watering it <.< Its not gonna grow it self without water.

I've seen many forums die and never has there been anything that could be done. We've gotten to the point where there's nothing interesting going on around here. Sure we could force ourselves to post useless crap but no-one would benefit from that.

Then don't post useless crap and find something to post about. Complaining won't help also  : Corpse? What corpse. The only corpse I see is in the American government but thats a different story. Go find a game or subject on the web and bring it back to this forum. Or even keep a close eye on UaW or Halo and keep posting about it. The guests are also to blame since they also just skim around. Well whatever i'm only one person typing across a screen with limited functions through a forum. I can easily be outnumbered.

the reason that theres nothing interesting happening here is because u guys arent making it happen. It is not the responsibility of a few to bring a forum back to life. its the responsibility of all the posters and visitors so guys instead of say theres nothing to be done. GOOD DAMN YOU POST! Make it come back alive. tell your mates spread the work do whatever you can!

 

We have adapted to what people wanted in the form of the Master Games section we De Star Wars'ed, We've done everything but Without your support then nothing can be done! So dont be defeatist or reactionist! be proactive if the Topic you want doesnt exist CREATE IT FOR GOD SAKE!

One that I think would help is that if some of you moderators weren't so trigger happy with your modding powers. If a bitter debate or flame war erupts don't extinguish it, that just kills the topic and encourages people not to post as much. If anyhting contribute to the debate keep the fire going, debates and flame wars draw lost of attention and get lots of posts. Easy on the banning too. You have to admit since Emperor Cheeseman was on things were a lot more active, and there was a lot more posting going on. Since he's been banned things have been really decrepid and dull. When he was banned there went like %30 of all active memebers? Same goes for deleting posts. Since the wipe Ive had several posts deleted for not particluar reason. That doesn't help keep things active. It does the opposite, it kills off activity.

It won't help the corpse, but it'll help the bacteria break down the corpse back into soil from which life can begin anew. So...keep watering the corpse...lol.

 

Anyhow, yea, Emperor Cheeseman did bring some good discussion topics and rants, but he kinda went overboard with his humor a while back and just blew it...

What about discussing old games? I made a topic about Alien Logic, but nobody posted anything.

It has also occured to me that some people might not use the "Show unread posts since last visit" and "Show new replies to your posts" buttons, which I do when ever I come here. So push them, please!

No Thanks if we need him to keep this place active the its gone. Emporer Cheeseman was banned for multiple Flaming of Moderators (including myself).

that didn't seem to stop you from deleting many of my posts, sort of like playing with your food before you eat it. This is what I'm talking about. The only things that are really worthy of banning are incessent harassment of one or more persons, posting porn, and total spamming. None of which I have ever seen on this site.
