2 New Star Wars movies being made

In a stunning revelation during a recent gala in NYC. George Lucas let it slip that the new TV series "Clone Wars" is in progress. He also let the cat out of the bag on 2 new live action star wars movies set in the SW era but NOT about the Skywalker family. Tey will contain a lot of our favorite characters but will be about something totally different.

Mine were too, at first, but i think they are going to be TV films and not released in the cinemas.

 

Also, I dont think FOX would risk its credibility by saying this if they wernt positive it was going to happen.

Funny, didn't Lucas say he was "giving up" Star wars?

 

If it does come out, I'll watch it.  Like I've said, I'll watch anything lucas puts out, no matter what.  I"m jsut stubborn like taht =P

i heard there waqs going to be a live action TV show(which was to be set in between RotS and ANH) as well as a cartoon like the clone wars, also that he was thinking of re-making the current movies in 3D

pshhh.....lamo, I doubt these movies will come out, and if by chance they do they will probably be about as good as the Star Wars christmas special.

That's been confirmed a few times now, yes. Except its not a cartoon to be made; its 3d cartoons (check the SW website for more info).

 

They've already remade episode I with a 3d yoda (can't remember where I saw the footage).

Perhaps this time they'll remember to give him teeth like those of the ESB and RotJ Yoda puppet. lol

 

Either the live action TV series, the 3d editing of the entire saga, or the 3d clone wars comes out this year.

i think that these are a good idea. however i think that it would be better if they were to be made within the cronology and after ROTJ... maybe have them recreate the Borleias mission with Rogue Squadron... or they could do the Bacta War period...

but thats it, were not talking about behind the scenes here, were talking about the two main heroes of the clone wars. i think there might be a month of the entire war were we dont know where they were or what they were doing.
