If you knew anything about China, you would know it's not that bad.  Sure, there are people who are literal "slaves," the sweat shop workings, child control, etc, but the standard of living is probably the highest in all the communist countries and it's continuing to rise.  They have the fastest growing economy in the world

 

N. Korea is a different story.  They're a poorer country, and they are more socialististic than most other countries.  I don't know enough about them to make a correct statement, though.

China's growth can't last forever. The people are content with the government because of that economic growth and if that growth stops or even slows, they may not be so accommodating with the lack of freedoms.

Infact. Moreover Chinahas been for centuries a country of great knowledge and wisdom. After Mao's stupid and futile revolution china has been one of the worst country in the world losing all that it has achived in the centuries.

If they became a democratic country like ours in the west they will probably be able to roll back to a better status.

communism is a stupid form of government that doesn't work, Democracy can easily work in even the smallest of countries (capatalism  is better, but that a lot of times will only work in large countries)

well this topic has gone to hell, it is way off subject, it is just an argument now, and none of you have ever studied politics except for what you have heard at school, and school is an unreliable source that covers up things of the real world. you guys should all just shut your mouths and go back to arguing about star wars because that is all any of ya'll know anythin of
