Well been on a bike ride last Saturday and today (April 24th 2007). Today was chilly but still went out with a friend and I just like to share these pics from Ottawa  Normally you take pics on travels but since most people never been to Ottawa I decided to show it from my point of view  Since i'ma be biking a lot i'll show pictures possibly weekly.

 

Yes I did take the second picture on my bike as I did with a few not shown here.

Now I know that Ottowa is the next logical step up from Indiana.  Theres no trash on the ground, and no corn in sight!  I know where I"m moving next before I move to Cali or NZ....

cool....I am surprised not to see a church...I live in utah (mormon ville) where there is a mormon church on 1/4 blocks    I don't think I will ever move to ottawa....but maybe if I am in need of an interesting trip I will head up there and take a look!!!!

HEY!!! it is utah in Cheesinators pic!!!! YEAH!!!!!! that is where I live (I know he said that, but hey! either way!) I love the mountains!! I need them in my life.....life would seem so...so....so....flat without them!

 

HEY! we were in national geographics! (we as in the town where I live) this is the the BYU stadium (for those of you who keep up on collage football then you know about BYU, if not..well just know that in 2006 they took the mountain west championship!! YEAH!!! GO BYU!!! note: mountain west=ultimate champions, highest rank for collage football in western united states!!!!)

That's a picture my friend took when we went on a hike up one of the nearby mountains.

I'm in BC, I don't think thats the other side of those mountains...unless I'm wrong.

Wow cool places... A bit different from where I live - the climate is hot in most times, and the city is located on an island, but with many mountains opposite the ocean (Atlantic Ocean)...

what? opposite the ocean? how can something be opposite of the ocean, you live on an island, you are surrounded by water, how can you be opposite the ocean? that makes no sense.....what is the opposite of water? huh? CO2? so your mountains are made of carbon dioxcide? what?

Argh, my 'limited' English is a problem sometimes...

I hope this picture took in Google Earth helps understanding what I wanted to say...

--> Ah, it may look that it isn't an island, but it IS an island, it's just because I couldn't get the top of the screen well on the picture... 

 

Also, I made some 'typos': I wanted to say that there are some hills in the island itself, but there are big mountains 'behind' the island (in other words, in the west - have in mind that in this case the island face would be the east/Atlantic Ocean), in the continent itself, that cause a very different point of view of a person who is in the island, as example, if you look to the east you will see the ocean - beach stuff etc, and if you look to the west, you will see the mountains (grab a car and in about 40 minutes/1 hour you will be in other climate with different landscape and that 'stuff'  around you)... A local marketing said something about "40 minutes beetwen the coconut water and the vine", but err, it doesn't sound good in English... Damn language 'barrier'... 

Am I 'clear' this time?   ;D

And some additions:

 

1) Rainbow after it rained yet AGAIN. Its been raining and storming ever since it became August and its pissingme off so much.

 

2) And here is a darker, zoomed in, version of the rainbow.

 

Images were taken on August 8, 2008 (8-8- right after I finished watching the encore of the Olympic opening/parade.
