Spore: Modding made easy.

I had an idea while watching the 35 min. demonstration.

 

What if a group of modders played spore; and recreated the Star Wars galaxy?

EX; Someone plays spore and evolves their creature into a Rakatan. Then, the "rakatans" begin Terraforming the galaxy, creating worlds like Kashyyyk, Tatooine, etc., and creates new creatures for these planet (I.E. Wookiees, Jawas, Krayt Dragons, etc).

 

That way, you are essentially "Modding" Spore, without any additional software!

And, new species can interact with the SW ones!

 

The community's thoughts? ???

You know, once you get to the space mode, you can terraform planets, and create new creatures.

Thus, you could make a new planet arid like tatooine or watery like manaan.

And you wouldn't need to start a new file.

 

We could work on this together (basically just communication; so that there aren't two kashyyyks, etc.) with other people, you know.

 

BTW, where can I purchase the game? (what stores carry it)?

 

Too bad EaW didn't have a unit editor like spore's...

Well, I was going to create a race of sentient Acklays, but your idea works too! 

 

Don't worry, people will create a TON of Star Wars races, along with Star Trek and other races, because Creativity is surprisingly lacking in todays culture (I'm testament to that)

I wish I could come up with something new. Even my own ideas involve combining preesxisting real animals (for example, my Arborceras, a tree dwelling creature resembling a cross between a chameleon and a triceratops with feathers.)

I'm a mix of creative and adaptive.  In fact, I created a massive universe that's so massive, any story of any genre of any game, movie, or book can fit into it.  It's the ultimate universe for fanfic writing =P.

 

Lets just hope that we can pick and choose some of our new content stuff.  Hopefull yif we can't, somone will make a GUI so we can.
