Grand Admiral Thrawn 889 Posted April 9, 2007 Share Posted April 9, 2007 well cool ive been promoted and i have to ask what are the critera you are looking at for this next promotion. as i'm game for it little competition never hurts. i have already posted how i think the boards need to move forward and with Ghostly's help i have managed to push to get the board changed as i did not have the power to do so myself. I think that the next step forwards is to remove the GIF from the top and put something more generic and also to move away from this Server as it has been good to us but as the Past has shown it may be time to move. using the Back up mistake and the fact that none of the Server Staff have been active recent enough that ive seen to make a back up. Grand Admiral Thrawn 889 Posted April 10, 2007 Share Posted April 10, 2007 No i think it need s to be away from the PG style name. the Best way to describe it would be that while PG is our Parent, we have matured the forum is now an adult and as such needs to move away from the PG and establish ourselves outside of it as an independant Forum, while we still have ties to PG and its community we also have other connections which have been shut or closed because of a narrow view. Now we just need to get going with the publicity. I know of a really good site involving mostly PC games that might have some members that would want to join here. It was founded by a guy, Nick, that was booted from his administrative position at Middle Earth Vault forums by IGN, who replaced him with a not as cool guy who banned all of Nick's supporters.
