totally, cheap console, cheap everything with some of the most quality gameplay to boot. Even though I loathe Microsoft with a passion, I still would get a Wii anyways.  Nintendo deserves it after the Gamecube campaign

i think that the Wii is worth it but only for anyone not looking for a serious gaming experience, because i have played the Wii Sports game and i think that while the Console is good for anyone under the age of 13. (no offense to anywho does but that is who it it was designed for.) i think that while the Motion Sensitive Controls are interesting i don't think that it is not any type of serious competition for the PS3 or Xbox 360 i think that its not in the same league in most of the catagories with which the PS3 and the Xbox 360 fall into, they are the console designed for the older gamers 14+ who are more prone to caring what the Graphics, Storyline, Playability of the games, where as the Wii is designed just for the Younger generation of Gamers to have 'Fun' on.

the wii is way more awesomer than any of the other consoles. It doesn't cost a boatload of money and it's unique and has a cool way to play. the 360 and PS3 are just using controllers like any other old console, and they have good graphics. Oooh ahhh. Good graphics. That's a PC is for. the PS3 and the 360 are dumb. Wii is the way.

I'd only trust the people who've been in console gaming more then those who haven't. Playstation and Nintendo, the two gaming guru's. I was at someones house yesterday who has a Wii and they were playing the Dragonball game. All I saw the guy do was button mash and move his arms around which was interesting.

If you only like sci-fi games, its not the system for you, as none are available for it. Which is odd, as the system holds some true potential for a star wars lightsabre game.

who says it's not for sci-fi games? I'm guessing that there will be a lightsaber game down the line. And there will be an awesome metroid game coming out for the wii. Don't try to tell me that's not sci-fi.

I see you have no idea what you're talking about. Some of the most hardcore-oriented series' are on Nintendo's boat, I'd actually go as far as saying there are NO games that are more hardcore that Super Smash Bros. and Metroid. (The latter is a SCI-FI GAME, *glares at Logan) Super Smash Bros is the most skill-based fighting game series there is (this is a fact) and Metroid has the most devoted speedrunning/sequence breaking community of all games. Plus it's the best game series in the world.
