Double icon on hero ship?

I once knew the solution to this, but right now I cannot get behind that error.

 

Why does the icon of of a new hero unit show up twice when I use it in battle?

Because you probably have the hero AND the transport ship as being a named hero...

Not quite.

If I set

<Is_Named_Hero>No</Is_Named_Hero>

the GC unit is fine, but in skirmish of course, it lacks the icon.

i had alot of trouble with this my self. There are two ways around it that i found.

 

1. Create a skirmish specific version of whatever unit has the problem. Thats what petro did on alot of units. Then make it Yes

 

2. Look at the team tags on alot of heros they might mention their space unit as a or a try one or both of those.

 

The first one works 99% of the time. The second is tricky and doesn't work some times for whatever reason. Hope this helps.
