Hello guys. I just got hand over Max 8 and don't know anything about modelling. If any1 have some usefull tutorials linked specially to EAW of FoC then please post it here. Thxs a lot.

If you want edit models from EAW or FOC (on special from mods) you will need Ultimate Unwrap 3D to convert ALO models to one format that 3Dmax can import, 3DMax can not import ALO models.

Thxs man i find ur tuts very useful  ;D  But i have a problem here. I have Max 8 and downloaded the plugin, sorry for a noobish question but i don't know where to put it. Actually i've put it in the pluging folder but it says there is a problem: http://img53.imageshack.us/img53/2007/pluginle4.jpg

Hey guys make sure you have service pack 3 for max8 and directx 9 and also use the .alo plugin from the FOC map editor.

I did upgrade it to SP3 and it still doesn't load the plugin. I'll try to reinstall the program. By the way i dowmloaded the plugin from petroglyph. Do i have to get plugins from FoC editor? I can't have it coz i don't have the game so the system won't let me install the editor. I've also read about FX files, what are they and do i need them?
