Rifle... That's not the coolest but it is the most efficient to burn hole trough Rebel scum...

Although, the Missile Launcher also rocks *Headshots with missiles are cool!  ;D* In one level that I downloaded in BFII Files, the Rebels had a Missile Spammer, very cool, 10 missiles per clip  ...

BTW, Leia sport pistol is very good too.

On kamino, Sniper Rifle (I don't like the award one)

 

I use rockets and mines to clear large enemy concentrations. Nothing better than loading a snowspeeder with mines and ramming AT-ATs.

I like the pistol, since practically every class can get it (aside from engineer and the faction-specific classes). So you gte plenty of oppertiunity to use it, whether I'm going sniping or anti-vehicle (even in space, I prefer using pilots to do boarding - the Time Bombs are better than the rockets, and the pistol is as effective as the rifle against enemy soldiers).

Though there's nothing better than grabbing an elite rifle and charging the enemy head on, mowing them down while capturing the CP at the same time. SPAWNKILL.

Elite Rifle(Boba Fett/Award weapon)

Han Solo's pistol

Detpacks(hehe...need I say more?)

 

I like the Boba Fett on Kamino especially. I am quite effective with his weapons there. Han Solo rocks with his pistol(DL-44...I think). Head shot=death. Oh, and Sith Lightning is also fun(although I am not the Imps or Confederacy very often)

the guns don't really pack enough punch in that game for me, they just don't feel right.

 

Buuuuuuuuuuuuut my favorite was the Imperial pilot's gun in the 1st game. It takes a lot of skill to use that gun effciently. The Mortar Launcher. It's rounds lack the splash damage of the grenade launcher which is why it's hard to use effectively

Sniper Rifle, I just like sniping people off.  When i'm not sniping i'd rather have the Elite Trooper's main weapon.

Sniper rifle definiely. In almost all the maps I find a quiet place and snipe the enemy down. If I am doing really badly on reinforcements I turn to blaster rifle and kill everyone.

For me the sniper rilfe is most effective at killing them at point blank range becuase the sniper rifle is odd in these games. And the "advanced" sniper rifle's point elude's me. It's like the laser beams from the gunships and it suddenly can't zoom in as far

Elite Rifle - the only reason i got through the Hoth Mission. Seriously... 1 Trigger = 2 Shots straight to the head  = 1 hit Kill.

really? the hoth mission took me a few tries but I beat it. And I didn't snipe at all. All you need is the ATAT until you get to the hanger. That's when it got hard for me

Sniping with a rifle > Sniping with a sniper.

 

I love how accurate the pistol is too. Sniping can be done with virtually any weapon due to NO RECOIL.

Uh, lightsabers and Force power are very crappy in BF... Prefer to play JA or RotS if I want to have some lightsaber 'realistic action'...

But it gives you SO much satisfaction when you capture all CPs but one in a cramped room with the AI up to 32, get maul, and fly in there chopping them up.

It;d be better if they fell to bits but meh.

force power action and lightsaber moves are pretty crappy in BF2. For one thing I wish that you could roll or something after being force pushed. It's just sooo dumb that your character takes his time getting up like a 70 year old women with artificial hips. That's when you die. when those idiots who only use push then kill you while you lethargically get off the ground.

 

and force lightning sucks in the game. It doesn't even sound right.

But do you ever see anyone in a star wars movie get up after a force push? No.  If you're a grunt soldier in a battle, and you're fighting a Jedi, you're comepletely outclassed, Cheese.  You should have almost no chance to defeat them when going toe to toe.  At least they made it more possible to stop a jedi than the BF1.  I only got one by blind luck, (blew Luke out of a window in Cloud City with a thermal detonator).  You're just bieng a sore loser about the Jedi handing you your ass.

should a JEDI take his time getting up? In JA if you get knocked to the ground you can do all sorts of moves like rolling and some jumping kick that gets you out of the way before they kill you.

 

as far as the movies go I can only recall one time that was force pushed was ever used in episode one. And it was just a bunch of battle droids being pushed into a wall where they promptly exploded in pieces. So maybe battle droids and rebel troopers would suffer the worst from a force push in BF2 but the clone and storm troopers are supposed to be excellently trained and quick thinking. They should be able to roll to the side or somersault back up almost as good as any other jedi.

Ehhh...not with the armor they have on (which doesn't appear to do anything)...well, the LACK of armor on the rebels doesn't seem to have any negative effect, though it does take quite too long to kill normal sorliders with blaster fire. Rolling aside, maybe (but they'd still get hit by the blade when that crazy jedi comes in waing around his lightstick), but not doing like a breakdance thing and leaping up. Not a normal trooper...can YOU do a flip back up holding a gun, wearing a backpack and armor, AND getting slashed at by a sword? no I don't think so. Can anyone?

 

Jedis shouldn't take ANY time getting up unless they get pushed under something or they get knocked out...in that case you're screwed anyway. lol. Yes, the jedi going *unnnnh my Baaaaaccck* and getting up excruciatingly slowly is annoying lol.

 

I like head-shotting jedis with snipers with scope off tho. Its fun. Mines work well too, as do rockets (In cramped areas)

Well if I was wearing armor (which apparently has no purpose in BF2, except looks) I don't think I could roll. and in BF2 you can't even push the stupid droids...which makes no sense. I think the Jedi are well done, there moves suck and the force is ineffective..except for knocking down your opponets so they can take an eternity to get up, if I was a Jedi I wouldn't want to get up quickly after being pushed, I would get up slowly, just because I could.
