AGDV3 Eclipse I Modification - and more.

Recommended Posts

Lately I have been working with 3DMax and Ultimate Unwrap 3D to edit some units from other mods and correct them and next add some new units to EAW. On special I have changed the Eclipse I texture and somethings of the graphic, target bones (new hardpoints) and adding it engines. Other unit that I have added is the Lucrehulk, if I´m now wrong it is a Eviljedi Model.

Now I go to edit some units as the Sovereign, SSD Venganza, and probably more.

Aren't those glows supposed to be blue? And have maybe two more engine hardpoints (sucks to have your giant ship crippled and un-hyperspace worthy when its got two major engine blocks active.

That lucrehulk has a whole lot of engine hardpoints...maybe cut it to three? since the back-up ones should be primary targets, just the three main ones.

That's just my observations, nothing more.

looks nice tho.

umm dude, howd you get it out of alo?

I took the Eclipse from AGDV3 mod, it had many errors and only 5 engines. About engines, it is a big ship, I see well the engines, Sovereign engines are bigger by example. I screenshot can give you a bad idea because it has not a big resolution.

About the Lucrehulk it is from FOC Space Addon but if you see it, it has not the same hardpoints, part of the engines and more, sorry if I have not put the correct credits but I read that the model is from EvilJedi.

I do not understand this questions, if you are tell that I have used FOC FX files, it would be not correct, both ships uses EAW FX files.

The lucrehulk screenshot is a few old, it has now only a engine. And on FOC Space Addon it had more weapon hardpoints.

The color of the glow. In FoC it is blue. the glow color. I'm asking why it is red. and yes I realized that the engine things was pure coding. No harm in having extra bones.

I meant how did you import the alo to max, cause if you sent people the plugin or something, we can give the base Eclipse more fireing bones (dont know if thats legal though) and the eclipse from agd v3 is from agd which let him use it

Ah sorry I´m not english and sometimes I understand you bad. I did it with Ultimate Unwrap 3D program, I import ALO models to it and I change textures on it, next I save models to ultimate unwrap format, next I import them to 3DMax (with the correct UU3D plugin) and with it I have the models without bones on 3DMax.

Next I can add them new bones, geometry or more things on 3DMax.

and the eclipse from agd v3 is from agd which let him use it

I did not know, AGDV3 has not credits txt file.

Oh sorry it is not a FOC model. I add to it a red glow engine from the sovereign with some changes to do it bigger. I think that the red glow is better.
