I've always liked and looked forward to CnC 3, but the FMV sequences from the preorder package just plain sucks.

Kane seems so...unKanelike.

(what Kane should be --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EKy4BdOVsZI )

And here's a trailer for the Scrin.

I'm still going to get it for the gameplay and mods, but this just makes it not worth as much.  :-\

I am keeping this game at a hands reach away. The possibility of a super unit (one that takes gear from slain units to become stronger) intrigues me, and so do the Scrin but.......its EA.

Who knows though? Time to wait and see.

Yeah. I tried out the demo and the acting was a shade better than the trailers.

Gameplay was awesome though.

I must really suck...I can't beat a medium rusher...

I read somewhere that the hard difficulty is the hardest the AI can get without being given a handicap. If you go brutal the build times are deceased and stuff like that...I can't beat hard. It's not like the Generals hard where if you developed a solid strategy you could defeat the AI...I think this AI for C&C 3 learns.  :-\

Been playing off and on today... The Easy Ai is even fun if you jack up the starting cash a bit.  I haven't managed to beat a medium AI as of yet.

I really like the Scrin airpower...

i missed all the hype so i didnt have any preconceptions but i have played a mission and i have to say i enjoyed it. the game gives a good variety of choice when completing missions for example the Croatia mission, i managed to mission by taking out the bases before rescuing the MCV this is something that some players may not have considered doing, for example my brother, he thought that because it was not something that he considered.

My respect goes to EA programmers for engine optimilization-it's only game of this year that runs on my comp  :P No matter that on low details it doesn't look better than generals... gameplay is very good.

It's classic CnC.. and I like it. I'm much more into the single player aspect.. that's what I loved about CnC, the storylines. Great characters.. FMV is back.. Lando Calrissian.. what more could you ask for?

So its not the game-reinvention of the RTS genre, but it is polished and slick. Everything just feels right about this game.

I wouldn't want it if it wasn't a real attempt at a C & C.

And it is. Unlike Generals. EA is really trying to make a game like Westwood did. And succeeding for the most part.

- It's set in the Tiberian universe

- It has Joe Kucan as Kane, and we all know he's the only actor we care about

- It has THE MOTHERFLUCKING SIDEBAR.

Yeah totally.
