I'm working in a Bespin land map, and I wanted to put flying Cloud Cars across the map like in the Underworld mission on Bespin, but when I go play the map in the game, they only stay stopped in the same place. Than I made an entry in Props_Urban.xml, and copied the Cloud Car code from Props_Story, and changed the following line:

<Cinematic_Object_Only> No </Cinematic_Object_Only>

But it still doesn't work. Can someone help me here?

Have you tried opening that mission in the FoC Map Editor? Maybe the properties were changed from the default for that map...

I noticed the Rancor and Sarlaac weren't in the maps in the original game. They got taken out of FoC... But they were there in EaW, and they weren't in the map editor!

It would be nice to see the cars flying around.

If you succed in this, you may star thinging of something like this for Nar Shadda map and Coruscant where sky traffic is high and would be nice to see things flying around! ;D

Yeah, I already have this in mind, and if this succed, I think could be done fliyng props of TIEs, X-Wings and Starvipers for background in land battles.  ::)

 

But how do I add in the Idle Animation code (is it already done, I mean)? Only with modding the xmls or need some modeling, animation stuff in this?

???

Dr. Nick, z3r0x, or anyone else that understand this thing, could you explain better how to add this idle anim or if I can get it from another unit like an indigenous unit or an airspeeder?  ???

I took a look in the Models.meg and found three animations that belongs to the Cloud Car:

W_cloud_car_idle_00.ala

W_cloud_car_cinematic_00.ala

W_cloud_car_fly_00.ala

 

I think this animations would work (since it works in the game mission), but I don't know how to... test. Any help?
