It's now called the TX130T fighter Tank as maybe it better suits the time line. It has upgraded shields and weapons. Heavy Laser CannonMedium Laser CannonThermal Detonator Missile Launchers this makes it comparable with rebel tanks I added to the game such as the T3-B and perhaps adds the balance there. But it wouldn't work in large ships hmm well TIE Scouts ARE kind of useless on the galactic map (I mean Probe Droid's can really just as much spy on a system). However they do have a FOW ping when they are in a battle. Not that it always will serve much use in this game anyway. I need to know more about this kind of coding, do you have any mods I can refer to on this ? - because this is not some thing I planned on doing, or have ever looked at doing before. Seemed to be after I ordered an orbital bombardment. So I would appreciate if people can look out for this and tell me if you get a problem with it, or with TIE Bombers. I am not sure exactly whats causing it. HK-47 Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 (edited) D803 has a 'bribery shuttle' (the one that you use in the last ZC mission to capture the Eclipse) in his mod that uses Tyber bribe ability to bribe ships in space, so the TIE Scouts could have that ability. One time I saw something about these TIE Boarding Craft, but I just said that to give the TIE Scouts some use, since like JC said, their job can be done with Probe Droid, and I don't think that someone would spend credits just to build 3 fighters (I think their squadron have three fighters) that can't well take Y-Wing but have a Sensor Ping ability that don't help that much (come on, grab some ships and hunt the enemy! ;D).Did you add some new units that can do Bombing Runs? I am not sure what caused the exception error I found but I will hunt it out. If people who have the last alpha build find it in skirmish let me know what you did to get the error. This will help me find the problem better. For capturing ships, I know people have done different ways of doing this, I am not sure yet if I want this in SOTE. There are two versions AT ST MKI - hunter - and the AT ST MKII - fire rockets and has a Anti Infantry / Air laser turret as well. Rubbish. AT ST was made to be garrisoned by the game developers. Your taking things out of context, Do you realise the actual size of the juggernaught to the size of an AT ST ? If the game dev's think they can be garrisoned by a Juggernaught I won't argue against it. Its a good idea. The FOC patch ALSO garrisons AT ST's ... A cannon mod ? - oh well better take out those K-wings then ? From FOC 1.1 update readme file - Juggernaut* AT-STs can be garrisoned with a pip value of 2.* Dark Trooper IIIs can be garrisoned at a pip value of 2.* TIE mauler’s pip value changed to 2.* Speed increased by 30%.* Point Defense duration increased to 25 seconds. See ? I did the same for the AT PT and some rebel tanks too. The Shocktroopers were done in my last mod I did privately. I had them firing plex missiles, it just doesn't look right with out the actual rocket launcher attached to them though. Kind of weird seeing a trooper firing a plex missile seemingly from no where..
