1upD Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 Probably the scale factor.Where are the entries? DragonShadow Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 Check LANDPRIMARYSKYDOMES.XML, and change the scale factor entries. Same can be done with the space skydomes in SPACEPRIMARYSKYDOMES.XML. http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h65/NightshadowDragon/RyuuKageSIG.jpg http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h65/NightshadowDragon/AoSW-JCW_Banner.jpg
HK-47 Posted January 17, 2007 Author Posted January 17, 2007 A big thanks to you... I changed the scale factor to 2.0 and it's enough.
jedi_consulor Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 sorry for my ignorance on this but what does changing the value actually do - and to what ? http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e99/drone_pilot/JC_Sig.jpg Sote Mod Website @ http://sote-mod.com/forum/index.php?act=home
HK-47 Posted January 17, 2007 Author Posted January 17, 2007 Well, I changed the scale factor value in the Utapau skydome to 2 and now it's bigger than before.I needed this because the map I'm making is large and the skydome was "ugly" in the map's corners.
DragonShadow Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 sorry for my ignorance on this but what does changing the value actually do - and to what ? It changes the in-game size of the object. If something starts with a scale factor of 1.0, increasing it to 2.0 would double it's size. http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h65/NightshadowDragon/RyuuKageSIG.jpg http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h65/NightshadowDragon/AoSW-JCW_Banner.jpg
Mr.Caine Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 Still no one told me what was the difference between scale_factor and size value :-[ http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a105/333Super/BESERKER.jpg
1upD Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 Still no one told me what was the difference between scale_factor and size value :-[Scale factor is the scale, and size value is the the size on the scale. So they both do the same thing. DragonShadow Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 actually size value doesn't seem to do anything (noticeable anyway). The numbers seem pretty random for siza value as well, considering an Imperial Star Destroyer has a size value of 8 and the Slave I has a size value of 120... ;D http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h65/NightshadowDragon/RyuuKageSIG.jpg http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h65/NightshadowDragon/AoSW-JCW_Banner.jpg
