Imperial Warlords, small mod (And a Few pics)

I've been working on a small mod, nothing special or big, but just using basic skills. Im new to modding to don't criticise too much please

 

Imperial Warlords Mod 1.0

 

This Mod adds Imperial Warlords to the game from certain planets. While they are NOT heroes, they can be requested just like Vader and

the Executor can be. If they die, request them back again. What seperates them from heroes is that they do not appear in the hero slots, they bring a ship (ISD or SSD) with them when requested, at a MUCH cheaper price than a normal ship of that class. . Of course you can only request one Warlord once, but can have all of them running around if you like!

 

So far, I have added:

 

Admiral Daala of the ISD Gorgon, available from The Maw at Tech Level 4, Space Station Level 4

Admiral Zaarin of the ISD Glory, available from Coruscant at Tech Level 4, Space Station Level 4

Captain Needa of the ISD Avenger, available from Kuat at Tech Level 4, Space Station Level 4

Ysanne Isard of the SSD Lusankya, available from Anaxes at Tech Level 4, Space Station Level 4

Admiral Ozzel of the ISD Nemesis, available from Corellia at Tech Level 4, Space Station Level 4

 

Im just altering some files and hopefully the mod will be completed by the end of this week. Dont want any bugs now do we  ;D

 

Bonuses: Eclipse SSD and Buildable SSDs, which both get construction countdown timers. (Possibly make buildable Eclipses as well)

Anyways, how did you get Executors buildable?

 

I tried, but it didn't work for me.....

Uh... That site is confusing ???

 

What did you change about the Executor when you made it...Mass buildable?

Quite a bit lol

 

Gave it a countdown timer, made it a non hero unit, used the SSD Icon in MTcommandbar etc

 

All you have to do on that site is register, click files, then download the "Multiple SSDs Redux Patch"

 

And there you go, buildable SSDs for Empire in GC 

 

Install like any other mod with the XML Folder and Master Text file

I mean everyone else uses PS Pro and stuff to smooth out their icons, get rid of annoying backgrounds and things. I did that but just with mspaint 

 

Anyway, this is the finished Warlord Screen:

-Possibly give the ISD II Icon a darker tint

Yey Im glad somebody done this yey . Id love to see you add a Moff Jerjerrod and make him kindda like Tarkin and since your doing this so cool can you add  or help me add Prince Xizor with a Keldable Battleship? I know he has the Virago but it's cool I have a Icon. Also since your making a ISD II you sould make a VSD II.

Arg the VSD arument.

VSD in EaW is VSDII, VSDI has > and < wings instead of - and -. It also has a Concussion missile instead of the ion cannon, and it has crappy turbolasers...

 

Everything is arguable, but the ion cannon (and lack of Concussion Missile, the VSDI's primary weapon), cannot be disregarded.

In the old PC Game TIE Fighter, VSDs had > < Wings so you never know lol

Those are my Ozzel and Needa icons from the LoW mod..

No, in the final release it was my Ozzel Icon, (please see screenshot in other topic final release)

 

and my Needa Icon. Although everyone's Needa looks the same anyway, yours, mine, Conflicts in Space 4.1, and a French Mod I downloaded.

 

True, I did start out with the Ozzel LOW Icon, but to use it to help me understand how to Mod and add icons.

 

If I had taken anything from LOW I would have asked permission first, if I had got it, I would have credited LOW in the Mod.

 

Please download the Mod to see for yourself the icons first hand. Only that way will you see. (Or glance over the other Imperial Warlords release thread)
