you could try adding another Hero with the same text entries and icons, and set it to spawn on death. That should transfer the hero. I  haven't tried this yet BTW.

I think it'd still count it as a loss, since that's what I'm kinda doing. Both the CRV Vorknyx and the ISD Glory have the same icon, but the text name is different, it looks like it just got transferred, but on a galactic scale, its still considered a loss.

 

I haven't tried actually making Zaarin a hero that transports in the flagship though. The ship itself is a hero.

Those "big flaimg rocks" are mass drivers - due lack of a suitable projectile, same ones shot from the Vengeance Frigate.

Guess I owe an explanation now on why that thing's there.

 

Yes, it'll be in the mod, but not in the conventional way. Its an easter egg. Yes I know I showed you it, but there's going to be a special way of getting it, and it involves messing around with the XMLs. :) That's all I'll say right now (since I haven't decided on how to hide this thing yet).

 

I'll edit this post with a real update as soon as I go in and take a few screenshots.

Easter egg?... interesting.

BTW it's skin seems to be taken straight out of HW2- looks better than original FoC skins.

 

And what's the 2 gray ships on the right ???- from this distance they look like corelian Barloz-class freighter but I guess they aren't freighters.

That's not BArlozs, these ships are to big on that screen.

And kedalbes in this mod are not ZC, but mandalorian (check out readme...)

Rebel station is not upside down.

You're right, too big to be Barloz Freighters, but they use it's model.

I forgot he added the Mandalorians and removed mando's stuff from ZC.  ;D

The Rebel station must be upside down, since you can't see the shield generator, although you may see the communications thing and the proton torpedo launcher.  ;)

1- HK, you're right. Its a custom map, the Space Station is upside down :P

2- Yep, I used the barloz model for something else: a mine-carrying corvette. If they need a shrinking, they'll get it.

3- And correct: Its orange lasers for the mandalorians (ZC lasers are purple)

4- shak, I don't know about the skin for that thing, I didn't make the model, its from an old mod I was working for with someone over last summer who gave me the HW2 models, he kinda dissapeared. (Yes, I do have HW2, but I didn't get it until last week, check the file history the model was made, well at least converted, last summer :P) I might even not add it to the mod if it arouses suspicion...

Oh right, the mandalorians were too over-powered so they now have space tech levels handled by tech upgrades, not station upgrades. This balances it slightly, but the AI refuse to tech up :( They don't use those Mine-layers properly either...

If I could rotate the blast so that it explodes the way it should (at 90 degrees) I would be estatic.

I might just remove the bombardment effect since its not centered correctly (its too close + its below the plane) :(

D803, how did you get Crusader lasers to be yellow? Did you made a new model or did you use the (or something like that) tag?

 

And when my 'escape TIE Advanced X2' goes to a area with FoW, it doesn't reveal the area, it goes hide. Does that happen to your 'escape CR90'? Because I looked at the code and it appears to be everything correct since I used some of the game fighter's code as base. If you have the same problem, do you think that happens because the game thinks it is a projectile ( is what we use to have escape ships)?

Well, I guess that D803 can't model...

 

Correct, I cannot model. It is done by set to 5,0

That's not due to escape ship, its due to that its a fighter. Try setting REVEAL in SpaceBehavior.

Ahh... But I still need to set the RGB I want to , no?

I'll try to add Reveal to SpaceBehavior and see if it works.

 

EDITED: Ah, ok. I didn't test the reveal thing yet but my projectiles are yellow now, thanks. And what's about if I want to make a starfighter projectile using the actual game model and skin but I want it blue. Is that possible by modding the code?  ???
