I didn't see a topic like this, so I though I would start it.

 

I Was playing Rome:Total War BI for my first on line game with it and here are the results:

I'm a noob, and this guy said he had played quite a few games and that he wasn't a noob. I win! He had a lot of carphrats but no general which was a bad move on his part. While my archers were laying down on the infantry my general was attacking the onagers then once he was done I told him to attack the carphrats. That changed the tide. He admitted defeat when I killed his captain.

Ok it wasn't against all odds but it was a great victory.

I only had my Greek hoplites and killed both Marcus (old reg now in the military) and Swiftdraw (I think) and they both had different unit varieties. Marcus had archers and normal Roman troops and I just decimated him with my Greek morale  ;D

 

Second time I played was either swift or Joshinator or Gen.Vader (Can't remember was way back) and I killed his bunch of horses, Roman legions, capabult, archers, and my Greeks just owned hardcore  ;D

Well there were thes warriors called the Spartans and they defended the city of Thermopoly for many many days from the entire Persian army, but the only way they lost was by dissention in their own ranks.  Real History way better than battles in RTS games! LOLZ I kid I kid

Well this relates to eaw but still amazing.

 

I had a level 2 space station and i managed to defeat 2 ISDs 5 VSDs A aclamator and 5 or so tartans (they had more in their fleet about 20 lol) Luckly on this map thier was asteriod seperating the station and thier main force i used this to my advantage first taking the x wings and pestering the tartans then i used my bombers to start hiting on the big ships, i think i lost probbaly 12 of each spanable thing thier but i only lost 1 or 2 hard points of my station.
