You mean that to add a thing in FOC need a new xml for every unit,or the old way as in EAW?

 

"Either" way mate. Its just easier to when adding a unit for instance to make a new unit.xml file and put "ALL" of the entries for it in one file. The old way you have to do groundinf.xml then ground company.xml and possibly the container.xml and that's just the unit entry, you have to do more if you add weapons, hardpoints, special abilities etc.

*sigh* Where's the logic behind it being neccary?

 

Unless FoC completely destroyed all the code and made individual entries "top level", they most likely couldn't stop you from putting more than one in an XML.

 

Use Gameobjectfiles.XML

Right when you got FoC you just started digging around didn't you? I like it  ;D

 

 

The only thing I see they need is the masks need to be a little more detailed...missing the tubing on the masks...friendly criticism, not flaming.

Of course I did, I "ALWAYS" mod my computer games I have for 15 years. ;)

 

The model is the petro model, so any omissions about tubing and what not need to be directed towards them :)
