Second I dont know squat about adding textures to models of ships or anything else to do with making it useable. Thats why I need help on adding them. Ive already added some stuff. But need help with adding the ships that already have hardpoints textures etc into the game. I just want to know where I can find them already Like the A galaxy Divided ships etc and which files I need to move from there into to FOC and how to make it useable. Like which ones are the textures and Hardpoints and etc and how I can add the Icons for them into the Game. Thanks in advance.

jedi_consulor Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 You need to get a copy of MTD Edit - and use that to extract the icons from Avengers MTD Commandbar file then insert the extracted TGA file into your own MTD Commandbar file. MTD Edit will help you do that. You'll find the Commandbar stuff in the textures folder for the mod your doing yourself. I'd recommend using MTD Edit 1.1 or 1.2 for extracting and inserting new TGA icon's into your commandbar file. They are soooo much better designed then the EaW Black Sun, those weren't black sun at all! There's also Bothans, Ewoks, Sullustans, a few [Missing]s, etc.Those don't have any units. I still would like to know how to add em to a faction or Pirates or something with the Hutts having control of some of the Pirate stuff and the Pirate Asteroid Bases were cool. Anyway if anyone can help figure out that or where I cna find the Singleplayercampaign xml or a folder that edits the starting units for the Galactic conquest(hence singleplayercampaigns xml) and help with Icon thing or a link to the tool to use so I can try anyway if anyone is interested please let me know I'll share my work. Also the TIE Advance is ingame but Ive not tested it against everything. The Venator was added for the Empire only as well as the POd Walker. This weekend if someone can help with the Icon thing I plan on adding some more units etc..

Already working on his followers (pirate units with dif skins), and have a good amount of info set up in the .dat file for the planet and units I plan on using. Making a hero unit is np, have done a few for land/space. What I would like is a "New" modle that the game does not already have/use. So my question is this... If any moddlers out there have a Male unit they have done and would not mind sharing that would be great. Basic walk, run, idol and weapon use. I can handle all the code needed to make it work. Thank you in advance if anyone can help out. Good luck finding some one to share their model though - I think we do need help with more new groundunits for EAW OBVIOUSLY not everyone can make them - I have already heard it can be tricky animating them too. I can't see it happening though what with people who can make groundunits probably already tied up in projects for mod teams. For Nym, you could reskin the pirate soldier. Well we have that mentality because only you and a few others want to share public models and kill the community. You whore models around like no tomorrow while the community dies as well as the big mods. The only one that could do his request is Wildcat who is on a modding break while he tries to win a girl's affections. So he's on a waiting list behind other modders, mod teams, and AoSW. People such as myself encourage the public sharing of knowledge to help new modders become more orginal. We discourage free public models because we've seen it kill the community. Almost all warlord mods are dead now. AGD ending soon, EaW enhanced is over, Conflict in Space caught porting, cannot be posted, Massive Warlord Conversion is over. People learned the truth of Warlords. Truth behind open public units. Those free public units never get used by mods.
