Re: Suggestion for a Better PFF

In the short time that I have visited the Maw Forum, I have realized one of the flaws of PFF. The mods and administrators don't talk much there! The Maw is pretty much dead. Few mods post there, and this could lead to a downhill spiral of people doing whatever they want without consulting others. Now I'm not accusing anyone of doing that, I'm just saying that having topics about the major events, or even some minor ones would be helpful. The warned spam users hasn't been updated since the reset, and I know some people deserved to be warned. The whole restructuration needs to be drawn out in detail soon and debated upon in order for it to be successful. We are supposed to be the leaders of the forums and should have "meetings", topics talking about what is going to happen during the week, and any events or conflicts that arise during the week. I think having a "meeting" topic for every week would benefit the forums greatly. I will go more into detail about the idea if you want me to.

I sent this in a PM to Cain, and since he's busy, he said I could start the idea if I wanted to.

And so here I am...but first I wanted to see if anyone else thought the idea was worth trying.

Either we got lazy and spoiled by other games when EAW released people didn't give 2 hoots about PFF anymore or when the game shipped people just started doing as they wish. Ya I did consult Cain via pm but other moderators didn't care what I did and vice versa. Ya someone should start getting that rusted hammer back into its shiney form. The day we were all happy and smart in Forumer...........I miss those days of helpfulness and glory.............Anybody else beside Fosh going to do anything about PFF ? Going to keep it alive or let it rot and turn into a ghost forums?

 

If you see any inactive moderators let me know and i'll switch them with people I trust that could be moderators and who are active.
