That may make sense but with the release of Mass Effect i'm sure the Income from it will pay for a second team which maybe able to work on Mass Effect 2, while one team is working on KOTOR 3.

Well my point was i read somewhere that their plan is to wait till after mass effect is released to announce official production of KoToR 3 its purely sepculation i doubt lucas arts or bioware or obsidian would grace us with a third kotor, and also if mass effect is sucussesful, which i dont doubt it will be then wouldnt they wait a while to do second one?

Well, bioware have only stated that they are not working on another project until MAss Effect has been released. as well as they have had time to work up some patches.(if necessary. However as has been seen with Halo 3, Microsoft are becoming more concerned with Bug Free Releases rather than a rushed release. hence the reason that Halo 3 and Mass Effect are taking so long to be released.

I just rebeat KOTOR(the first)recently and it really is one of the best games I have ever played. Anything more in that series makes me very excited.

 

That article must be talking about KOTOR III. I can't think of anything else it would be talking about. Keep your fingers crossed.

now there are rumors(i don't know how much true to them there is) that it might be a KotOR MMO game. and the reason they cant say what it is yet is that they have to wait for SOE contract to end or something. i dont believe them but... its possible

The problem with an mmo is that it would disallow key success points of the series (for example speaking to npcs would be very messy, and likely without sound ). Unless they plan to revolutionize how mmorpgs are made, I think they should stick to the current engine.

I know I would rather have KotOR III and thats what I think they're making, but the possibility worrys me because I really dont like have to pay every month to play a game I had to spend $100 buying in the first place

I would hate to see the KotOR series turn into a MMO game. It just doesn't seem to fit. The monthly fees don't help either.
