It would be a minor story line split it would In theory just decide what planet you went to next type of thing if you went with carth you would complete the planet and have to rescue bastila and vice versa.

At the same time, however, we don't want KOTOR III to be too much like KOTOR's plot. The sith should be more interested in other characters; or maybe all of them at once.

 

And maybe some party member changes half-way through the plot (perhaps a member is killed and replaced by another one later on)?

 

Also more opportunities for other party members to be party leaders temporarily (like with Mira in KOTOR II on Nar Shadaa).

Ughh i hate those plots the reason i played the game was to complete the story with my character not with my party members itwas just annoying becuase i never gave them realy good stuff inarturaly gave it to my self.

News on Obsidian Entertainment is not going to be part of any KOTOR 3 production for atleast a year. they have just announched that they are going to start work on a game for the Alien series, for a Next Gen Console, with SEGA.

Just finished playing KOTOR II (again);

 

Most likely returning PMs:

 

1.Visas ("She will return to Katarr...after that, I do not know." -Kreia)

2.Mandalore/Canderous ("Canderous is a loyal beast-as Revan intended." -Kreia)

4.HK-47     > (something to the effect of "Their future has not yet been decided...")

Bastila and Carth's chances are sketchy; probably just highly involved NPCs (Carth mentions something about Revan telling them to keep the Republic strong in his absence-in Light side Revan storyline at least).

I am planning to play KOTOR I&II again. I love those games and always tries at the best. I am a Dark Sider and only plays and finish the game on the DS.

I am however curious to know how the LS is.

I tend to just follow what I would do in that situation.  It comes off as being slightly dark, with more leaning towards neutral. 

 

But anyway, GAT, despite personal prefernce, they're working on Mass Effect, so it's either year wait, or third party.

Mass Effect i believe's release date is spring 07 so it would be less than 6 months wait for them to move on to a different game.

 

the Amazon UK release date for Mass Effect is the 30 March 2007.

Yeah but their finishing Mass Effect and I've never even heard about this other game (to my knowledge). That's very few projects for such a big company...

I assume by "remaking" you mean porting. Remaking it would be one of the most idiotic things I've ever heard...then again I thought it kinda sucked so I think porting it is a bad idea too...

Ugh, it's sorta like KotOR but the characters attack way after you press buttons making combos hard and overall combat/movement very stiff and clunky...aside from that it was pretty cool.

Im sure no one gives a crap anymore but i had read somewhere that whats going to happen with kotor 3 is theyre going to wait till mass effect is relased and after a month or so they were going to announce they were starting kotor 3 and wre gonna use the mass effect game engine for kotor 3 so they dont have to go and make a new one
