Rumours have been heard about it... the information that rumours have is that it will be another Lucasarts/Obsidian Entertainment project. (my only complain about this is that Obsidian did KOTOR 2 and for the hype of the game it wasn't that good.)rumours also have it that it will linked with the ending of SW:EAW:FOC. EX: you are Leia on the Tantive IV. You must reach the escape pods. You reach the pods and give R2 the plans.switch charactersLeia is no longer in your party; you now have R2 and 3PO; R2 as the temporary party leader (you can choose what he says; 3PO responds to him)get aboard the escape pod.(cutscene; Leia is captured and "Where are those transmissions you intercepted?")Tatooine map loadsYour outside the pod. 3PO and R2 split up; you switch player control back and forth for important events.Homestead map loads.You must Persuade Luke (as 3PO) to purchase R2. I would like to see a KOTOR based on the classic SW. Something where you may party with the Empire or Rebs or against both on your own. The whole reason they set it in the timeline that they did was so they didn't have to put up with the restrictions of the classic trilogy.

I get the feeling that KotOR III may have been dropped and the devs haven't told us yet, or there are no plans for an expansion, or it is under development and they just haven't told us yet... Why would you say that???? It is one of the most sucessful and acclaimed star wars games of all times and it has an unfinished story. There is no way it can't be in development, it is a no risk investment for LA.

Sim city isn't dropped, in fact a thread on the other petro forum says there are at the very least plans for another one. What sim city 4 only came out a couple years ago. The company mentioned a number of projects beyond the current fiscal year that are sure to boost revenues as well. In addition to a Sims game being developed specifically for the Wii, the publisher has a new Road Rash under way, a game to accompany the movie version of The Simpsons, new Lord of the Rings and SimCity games, and a next-gen version of Black. Finally, EA also confirmed that The Sims 3 is in development, with a likely fiscal year '09 (April 1, 2009-March 31, 2010) release date.
