After installing FoC up to the *Insert Disc 2* message, I got a *DirectX 9.0c required" error. I exited the installation and installed the DirectX version. Normally, when a game half installs, it doesn't count for anything. I inserted the FoC disc again and it started to play. When it loaded, the graphics were horrible and there was no sound; obviously there were no files from Disc 2 installed.

Now, I want to uninstall Foc, except that it really isn't fully on the computer yet. Only the EaW file is around on the programs folder. How do I uninstall FoC if it doesn't have an uninstall button?

(When I click uninstall from the start folder, an error message appears. On the auto-run, it only shows Start Game, not install)

The uninstaller will run up to the first *Next* button, and then get a random error message. If I remember correctly, it has to do with a game key (not the product key). I have tried to look for the Lucas Arts folder under My Computer, but it is being a jerk and is not visible. Bah!

Oh, I already uninstalled EaW and reinstalled it. Same thing happened. FoC is integrated with EaW.

All right, try uninstalling it from the disk. If that don't work, the FoC may be invisible for some reason.  right click and slect properties and see in the Lucas Arts directorly if the file is hidden...

So there is no directory C:/Program Files/Lucas Arts/Forces of Corrruption?

You could try deleting that folder if it's there, but that might mess up your comp...

Unistall EaW, remove all saved games, re-install EaW, patch, then install forces of corruption all in that order...

I have the same unfortunate problem that Gastroid does.

I've just uninstalled and reinstalled EaW, but when I go to install FoC, it doesn't give me the Install option.

When I try to Uninstall FoC, I get that same "Unable to launch LecSetup/CDKey.exe" error message.

I'm hoping that Petroglyph is aware of this problem and is working on a fix.
