Firstly...WOW... ::)

 

These entries are completely unrelated. Population value is, obviously, population value. Size value determines the physical size of the unit's models in-game.

controls the size of the model, so I doubt that Sizevalue has anything to do with model size.

 

In stock EAW, the Mon Calamari cruiser has a SizeValue of 360, but the ISD has 8. So what does that value mean?

Scale Factor determines the size of effects (engine glows, lasers, etc.) ::) trust me, I've experimented A LOT with this. the reason the values are different is because the base models are of different actual sizes when they were made.

Hmmm well then maybe the scalefactor changes the size of everything, because I know for a fact it changes the ship size. That's what I've been testing for the past few days. I'll have to experiment with when I get home.

Well, good luck, lol. ;) For me it's never seemed to work properly unless I changed both by the same ratio (50%, 200%, whatever).

Personally, I've never touched the size value; I just use Scale Factor Every time and it works perfectly.
