Error and programs

Is it possible to make a program for EAW to find out why it sundely freezes up? Ive had problems in the past and now with my mod and some other peoples mod and after a set amount of time on Galatic Conquest the game will come to a sudden stop permantly and you have to restart your computer. I cannot find out for the life of me what this comes from. So I'm asking is it possible to find out why it exactly does this?

EaW has a lot of problems.

 

The one I hate the most still plagues me to this day: the dreaded "cannot detect non-presence" error.

EaW continues to randomly reboot my PC without reason; All because I opened a map that contained a unit from a mod I had removed. :'(

Actually I think a lot of these problems are caused because of Secure rom 7 - It constantly nags you for the original CD not a backup disk - even tough I am using the original CD. On their site it says your drive might be too old or you need a firm ware update. - My drive is brand new !

 

If these problems happen trying to start the game - then god knows what it does during play ? - maybe forgets that its a legitimate install or some thing and thinks your using a backup ?

Protections plagues the games. That is why some games being released are leaving the protections.

If a game is really good why not buy it?!

It sometimes happens to me that the original DVD is not recognize.Incredible!!

If so, what do you think I could or expect me to do about this?

I've never had the game suddenly crash on me. Not while playing the unmodded version.

And if it happens with a mod, then that's simply the mod's fault for having a bad value somewhere.

 

I've also never had problems with the protection.

 

Seriously, what could I do here?

I dont think there IS anything you can do. especially based on what you say. Its a pity the execmption log report isn't more user friendly though in EAW. Really is designed for programmers to know about debugging the error code. Thats some thing the developers would know about.

But more specially I was speaking of a error that happens to me. No one has ever been able to help me as it is the most annyoing thing ever. After a few days in GC the game ceases to respond. It happens more comeonly on higher tech levels, but it doesnt make since of why...then again my mod pretty much changed everything. But i dont hear other people making claims of non responding.

are you trying a to open a gc that u started with a mod if u are just start over
