Keep in mind, you can change the model/skin depending on the terrain, and that this has an Alpha channel, so everything blue can be changed to a different color.

 

And I know, the PFF logo is scrunched in one place and backwards and small the other, but I can fix that.

Sorry, it's just you don't know how many mods expect modelers, and are very picky. If you stop being picky now, I might be able to reskin some things, you can code somethings, then there will be a mod, and modelers might see that mod, and go for it.

Best mods in the universe gets modders? Really? Then most of the mods we see should not be around then since as you said only the best modders should be around. Goal of this mod:

 

- PFF Mod is to focus on adding in PFF into EAW/FoC as a new faction (The whole forum works on this) and to put ourselves (PFF, not heroes) into the game with our ideas. It is to see how well PFF can fight in the Star Wars Universe with the unique ideas for units. It is to also show how we would fair in the Star Wars Universes. This mod makes the community think of new units from their mind and if we just reuse units and modify it thats just cutting corners. If we create units from scratch (being star warsy) then it should show we're a community that supports Petroglyph and also shows we would jump any hurdle.

 

Thats the main goal but the side goal is to get everybody to work together to create a community mod. It is to show how well we work together and to show our strength. If people just want it to be a concept mod then thats their choice but if they want it to be a mod of PFF Pride then they would work on it. If they want to be greedy and ignore it then thats also their choice. I'm also trying to help this forum be active also and be creative and add in unique ideas and if people don't want that then they'll choose to ignore it. I think that the better the quality of the mod the better people would take us in the community(s) and that should actually help us. If you think i'm wrong then thats your freedom of thinking and be glad you have it.  ;D

 

I maybe asking for too much when asking PFF to work together but i'm willing to take a chance and see how the PFF members are willing to take this. This mod also has another focus to it but I won't say what it is at the moment until I get word.....

Now then thats the goal i'm trying to achieve and you 1upD if you want to say that PFF mod is going to fail just because i'm trying to unite the community then thats your opinion. Me being picky just because I didn't focus on PFF members being heroes? Me being picky because i'm trying to get people to be creative? Me being picky because I want PFF to be a quality mod? right.... if you think that then think that just don't constantly repeat it. Your only going to get what you put into the community 1upD so at least try something instead of trying to get this mod to cut corners by reusing and modifying since thats so easy. Creating stuff from your mind is going around the block and getting it to work properly is another challenge that should be worth doing in this mod.

PS: I liked your reskin its just we're not going to reuse whats already been done and lazy ourselves

Flaming?! I'm not flaming and I was stating what the goal is and if people choose to help or not thats there choice. I see your one of those who have troubles seeing emotions from stating facts.

Modders should be mods. I hate typos and thats why I edit around 50 times. I still stand with what I said though.

Cool  , so we got 2 Rendered units  ;D Now to touch up on what we have to make it quality like 

 

My opinions (IF I sound pushy i'm trying not to):

1) Hangership - Just needs a little touch up on lightings like yellow dots on the bridge and around 4 turret and missle hardplaces (8 total) 4 on the top half and 4 on the bottom half and its ready 

 

2) PFF Heavy Tank (Dr. Nick) -  Middle Turret should be smaller for Emp blast that disables units (Han's or bombardment coding here?). The big barrels for left and right are fine. I hate paint when it comes to to concept art so I guess i'll draw by hand now. Ok for the edges do what you did for the front. If you want add a smaller anti-infantry turret barrel to each corner for anti-infantry guarding. Well just a thought not pushing you guys around.

 

3) So what you think? PFF Hanger Ship and PFF Heavy Tank both look good right? Now I just have to get PF forums to be the vs side

Saw your post on PF and thinking its a joke post. I'm suprised at the nice start we got here  I was expecting the models/renders to be made in November but I see you guys wanted in (donno for what reason). Damn I see I would have to be the leader over at the PF forums unless they are already in the planning stages  Ya what Kelathin said i'll give PF a week to "prepare".

I'm disliking my index page's wallpaper right now. I like making websites its just I lack the resources and knowledge to make it "1337" or "perfect".  : I don't use any website makers and its all raw html I always use.

I can't. I only re-skin, not from scratch. It is a useful asset when you don't want to waste modeler's time, but of course it's "CUTTING CORNERS"

If you ever change your mind about "cutting corners", I'll be very willing to skin though

 

And you still misunderstood me........ Mods are really great if they get modelers, but NOT EVERY MOD GETS MODELERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(hint hint: I used "THE GREATEST IN THE UNIVERSE" for emphasis, and was being sarcastic )

And you know, once someone lays out a skin, then you can "re-skin" it...which would technically be skinning it
