NO HERO UNITS for now -.- Just the normal units.........1upD........Normal units like fighters, troopers, tanks, and whatever else? Space station ya. Sorry but hero units just mess up the process and made me think weirdly of units.

 

D803, ok good luck on scanning  ;D My scanner was a hissy fitter so I always have to draw it in paint or by hand and use a camera.

Do Generich Hero units(like Field Commanders) count? I really would like to work on my modder idea.......but anyways......

How about this for minor heroes, just draw something up by hand and then when I ask for it you can get it up  ;D

 

As for putting logos on already made troopers.......thats cutting corners and would taint the meaning of a PFF Faction mod imo

I have some ideas for artillery...

As well as a light/medium friagte

It all depends on what "style" we pick...

 

But maybe its good to have a certain "style" to our units.

Like the Underworld space units are very angular (sharp corners), the rebel space units smooth (rounded), the imperial space units triangular (straight lines).

Oh crap. This mod now officially stinks in my opinion. It did seem like the greatest mod idea ever(besides IA2 ;D), but then you got all picky.

@ 1upD - Dissing the mod doesn't get you anywhere just because you want it to be in a certain way -.- Just because i'm not focusing on heroes now doesn't mean you have to act like a kid you know.

- 2 W shaped Flame throwers

- 4 anti-trooper turrets ( 2 on the side/middle and 2 at the rear)

- 2 main barrels for close-medium ranged damage

The heavy tank looks a lot like a t4b.......I could reskin one to look something like it.

 

I also have a great idea for the infantry, I'll skin it tommorow, and use the pic as my "concept art".

 

Also keep in mind that you can change the models for different environments.

@D803: If that's empty space between the latice work on that Corvette, then it's very unique.  I give it an A+  ;D. Kinda like a lancer in the type of work it's going to be doing, no?

 

That Frigate, though...Looks more like a Species 8472 Frigate then a munificent cruiser.  From the top, I mean.  Still would look nice, though.

Yes its empty space between the tubing, and yea, its a anti-starfighter ship.

 

And the frigate began as a less-round version of the Munificent...and it turned out like that.

4 laser cannons (mounted underneath "legs")

2 missile tubes (Mouth)

1 Tail-Mounted blade (for extra deadlyness in dogfighting, can whip it around to cut up enemy fighters)

Ya we're just trying to get through unit concepts before we actually vote on em. But first we need to get all the classes and maybe a bit of extras until we are satisfied of those we want. If anybody wants you can start modelling the units and lock it into place but its up to you.
