VZaknaril Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 I'm somewhat of an old-school gamer... 1. Final Fantasy 4 (JAP)2. Final Fantasy 6 (JAP)3. Final Fantasy 94. Chrono Trigger5. Chrono Cross6. StarCraft7. Metroid: Zero Mission8. Metroid Fusion9. Super Metroid9. Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past I could really go on and on... Most of my favs were on SNES, which got me through most of my childhood. The Civ games were great, WarCraft 2 was good, like I said...on and on. The above games are ones that I could actually pick up now and enjoy playing. http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m83/qalsip/zak1_demo.jpghttp://miniprofile.xfire.com/bg/sf/type/2/zaknaril.png
Relentless Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 V[Zaknaril"]7. Metroid: Zero Mission8. Metroid Fusion I just fell in love with you. My list: 1. Metroid Prime (Simply the best, better than all the rest)2. Shadow of the Colossus (Probably the best game that never sold too well)3. Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (A twisted enough plot for me)4. Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (Again great plot + nice enviroments)5. Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes (A deeply moral and great plot)6. Knights of the Old Republic (No need for comments here)7. Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords (Very underrated, on par with the first one)8. Metroid Prime 2: Echoes (Not as perfect as its predecessor but amazing also)9. Resident Evil 4 (Not as scary as it should be but terribly addictive and well made. Regenerators... *shiver*)10. Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance (Simply a great Strategy RPG with lots of dialogue and itriguing story) It bring upon us more of famine, death and war, you know religion has a lot to answer for. -Steve Harris, Iron Maiden

Relentless Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 DK64SSMBBF2HWAOEIIand battlefront which is the best star wars game ever There's no such thing as SSMB. SMB is Super Mario Brothers, and SSBM is Super Smash Bros Melee. Battlefront was nice in splitscreen, but bad otherwise. I lack the ability to undestand how you can call it the best SW game. It bring upon us more of famine, death and war, you know religion has a lot to answer for. -Steve Harris, Iron Maiden

Guest Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 There's no such thing as SSMB. SMB is Super Mario Brothers, and SSBM is Super Smash Bros Melee. Battlefront was nice in splitscreen, but bad otherwise. I lack the ability to undestand how you can call it the best SW game. well thanks for correcting my misuse of acronyms : battlefront is my favorite star wars game, because for once you can play as the bad guys and you can do whatever you want during the battles. It's also the best selling star wars game ever and that says a lot.
Relentless Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 It's also the best selling star wars game ever and that says a lot. Sales don't mean anything at all. In fact at least half of the games that sell well are crap. It bring upon us more of famine, death and war, you know religion has a lot to answer for. -Steve Harris, Iron Maiden
Empireftw Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 (edited) To you maybe it depends on your opinion you could think they are crap and others could think they are the best thing ever. Edited November 20, 2006 by Empireftw http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a245/loverdog/pffuserbar2.jpg
Relentless Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 To you maybe it depends on your opintion you could think they are crap and others culd think they are the best thing ever. I pity the fool who says most of EA's games are good. It bring upon us more of famine, death and war, you know religion has a lot to answer for. -Steve Harris, Iron Maiden
Guest Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 The best games are those that rake in the cash better than other ones. Or at least that's how the game developers think when it comes the best games.
Relentless Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 The best games are those that rake in the cash better than other ones. Or at least that's how the game developers think when it comes the best games. No they don't. There's a difference between good and succesful. It's like music. Everyone has an opinion, some of them are just bad opinions. It bring upon us more of famine, death and war, you know religion has a lot to answer for. -Steve Harris, Iron Maiden
Relentless Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 a very small differnce It's a matter of perspective. Most of the developers would rather have a succesful game than a good game. Still, they'd rather play a good game than a succesful game. It bring upon us more of famine, death and war, you know religion has a lot to answer for. -Steve Harris, Iron Maiden
