Ghostly_Substance Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 1) Ship naming, will grunt ships be named the same thing or randomly named? Demo there were a few ships with the same name. Not that its a big deal just want to know what your doing with it. Hunter_pff Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Name of each ship is seen in the game. Each class of ships and submarines has its own list of names. Thus, you will never see a destoyer named BB Iowa, or US baqttleship - HMS King Georg V. Pacific Storm PR manager http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y256/Cain2/Pacific%20Storm/Lesta.jpg

JanMasterson Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 List of units planned for PS:Allies Ships Germany Submarine Typ VIIC class What is the motivation for operating medium range Type VII U-boat (Atlantic boats) in the pacific? As far as i know, all uboats that operated in Indian Ocean were type IXC or type IXD (Long Range boats). The Type VII were operating as far as the Gulf of Mexico but not further. Hunter_pff Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 What is the motivation for operating medium range Type VII U-boat (Atlantic boats) in the pacific? Type VII corresponds to the class of submarines presented in Japan and Us navies in Pacific Storm. Farthermore, it is quite possible that Allies will include historic missions for single/multiplayer as well as for battleplanner, with not only Pacific battles such as Hood vs Bismark and etc. Pacific Storm PR manager http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y256/Cain2/Pacific%20Storm/Lesta.jpg
JanMasterson Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 Type VII corresponds to the class of submarines presented in Japan and Us navies in Pacific Storm. (...) In wich terms does it corresponds to it's opposants? From my sources, the Type VIIC is smaller, lighter and had less range. The only german class that had comparable specifications was Type IXC and Type IXD. JanMasterson Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 (sorry for crossposting) Hunetr answered on official forum: Unit list is flexible because there are many models in various stage of production, some additional units are added to fit the balance and for many other things. Some extra units that are not yet listed are planed to be added at least after Russian release to demonstrate mod support system Source:http://www.pacificstorm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=22924 Cheers,Jan
