that would be cool to see rotating turrets on ships. also don't forget if there are(if you want to) to add rotating turrets to the Vent. and others too. would be cool to see.

The only reason I can see Petro not giving SDs rotating turrets is that it may cause lag or other performance issues (5 SDs equals 40 Heavy Turrets!)

Ok if they are avoiding rotating turrets at least they could have increased the hardpoints, a thing which may be found only in mods like SAU 3.0

This a real pity as I have always hoped to see SW Ships like in the films with many turrets.

The lag may occur only on low systems. Hey who is still running a such old machine. Upgrade is not so costly. ;)

Thats not my problem I HAVE the upgrade parts, its just that my computer utterly rejects them. I don't feel like buying a new computer, reformatting, and reinsatlling windows just to get a damn driver to work.

ya thats one thing that really disappointed me in EAW, not enough hardpoints or turrets on ships. but if there are gonna be in Foc then i really hope bail adds them to ships, unless petro gets smart and does it.

I mean, how are 4 Heavy turrets 1 hardpoint that fires projectiles from only one point? It'd be cooler if it was like Rebel Strike; each Turbolaser could be individually destroyed.

 

conflict: In rebel strike, SD has 4 ion cannons on each side, elsewhere, SD has 3 Heavy Turbolasers and 1 ion cannon on each side.

I am glad to see people who agree with me.

Infact in EAW a ISD has 4 TL and 2 IonC. That is unrealistic. Let's have at least their numer doubled.

Hey a ISD is a real warmachine. I would propose 3/4 TL on each side and 2/3 Ion Cannons on each side too. That would be a good compromise beeetween playability and estethic enjoyment.

What you think??

Same rule to apply to other ships too of couse in proportion.

I hope Petro will do something about this. At the current state of the things it's really bad to have 1 hardpoint which should contain more TL being destroyed all together.

wasn't the ShadowClaw mara's ship? if so that would be great to have her in space. and the consortium ships cannot be in norml EAW at all. but he did say he was gonna release a Bailknight 3.0 for Foc once it comes out.

Umm, no.

 

The shadowclaw is what Petroglyph calls the Barloz freighters in EaW. They can be unlocked through some xml tweaking.

I thought adding it to FOC was implied since he said he next mod would be for FOC....

interesting info, it says the twi'lek dancer was a barloz, which in a preview said in is tyber's first ship. So hey, it probably already is in.

Mara's Ship was the Jade's Fire in Timothy Zahn*'s Thrawn trilogy, or should I say quintilogy(five books);D, though she may have a different ship at other points in the SW timeline

 

*It's possible Tyber Zann may in part be a tribute to the EU author Timothy Zahn; just as Cin Drallig was turned into a tribute to the Austrailian who created the lightsabre fighting styles found in all three prequels. bailk can do i still have permisson to edit yur mod and can i relses the edit if not would u consider includeing the edits in

your mods

 

 

cuz i have made varius edits and i have added ysanne isard (isard and lusankya codeing is done,text is done,gui and icon nope,uses maras voice overs i want to record new tho)

is that it? i mean I'll get it and try it out, but one of the things that i did in my personal version of Bailmod v3 was increase the amount of units and make it so different units spawn in space and on land,makes combat much more interesting and difficult. also it prevents spamming of ships and such.
