Bailknight's mod

My favorite mod I have tried out. Doesn't try to hard. Puts in quality units over a bunch of quantity. But he hasn't been around recently, think he said he was going to be busy. But I can't wait till he starts modding FOC. I can't wait to see what he does with it. I also hope he adds all the units of his original mod.

 

The question I have, and this doesn't have to be just bail's mod, is would you rather them use the FOC models or use their own models?

 

Personally I think I would rather see the FOC models than mod models. Not because I don't think one is better than the other, but because I don't like my mods take things away from the initial game, I like things added to them.

 

What do you think?

I'd have to agree. I like things added, not taken away or replaced.

 

I'd say my favorite part of Bailknight's mod is the new weapons graphics. They are absolutely superb, and give it a really beautiful cinematic quality. In one word..."prettyyyyyy...", lol ;D

I hope he will mod FoC, his EaW mod is great. I like the Turbo-Laser new graphics and the units he added, it's just superb.

Bails next mod will be for FoC. and he will just be converting his mod to FoC, and hes thinking about adding a couple things to the consortium.

hey bailknight good to hear from you. I just reinstalled your mod and for some reason, the SSD won't turn. This didn't happen before I reinstalled. Any ideas?

my 56k modem is too slow, I can't download it.

Bail, could you by any chance release the gunship and it's neccessary files (point-defense laser particles, gunship model and skin, any others that the XML files refer to) in a separate download (pehaps on EaW Files)? This would be very useful to those who can't download the entire mod.

 

*sigh* if only I could get DSL... they don't serve my area

FoC Demo: 605.45 MB

 

Both really pose a problem; FoC demo would take approx. two weeks to download.

 

But I was talking about The Mod.

Well after FOC release i`ll convert current mod (3.0) for FOC compatiable....with some minor change (like put new special abilities that FOC has)

 

And I notice that FOC may support multiple (actually working) turret that rotate seperatly so if this is true i`ll going to make active turrets on some units (Like ISD`s quad TL batteries)

Never mind; it took 1 hour and 1 minute, but I finally downloaded it.

I'll use that as a reference for the future.
