Yea, but still...the N-1 was added as a "joke". And I suck too much to unlock them normally, so I use cheats.

Never actually appeared in any missions which were stock (as in the first time you play it, and this map-mod is designed to reflect that)

 

Ps. I've learned how to LUA campaigns now (yay). Its actually not hard, its just referncing units and markers in the map editor, then linking them to trigger events defined in the same LUA script. It seems we WILL have objectives in our maps after all *cackles evilly* Before any mod team trys to steal me away to do campaign work, I need to make sure I actually know how to do it...this is a good test of my abilities...once I get the models)

Ok we now have a TIE Hunter model (check FF Gaming Forums)

Now We need an icon...

 

If someone could trim the background off this...

Map editor does not wrok (cries)

I've tried but it keeps crashing...

I can get maps to be made, but it won't start (in FoC). Editing existing maps makes it it crash

Nope. I'm using stupid PS Elements because Adobe hasn't given me serials for my CS2 yet...lazy *)#%&*&%^%#$*%^@#*%&&^$... >:(, i don't like them...

I haven't ditched this yet :)

 

I made the Kothlis map already, from the two screenshots on wookiepedia, I couldn't be bothered to go to someone else's house to play RS2 just to look at the map...

Anyhow, I've also coded the Multiplayer Structure Markers for starting Ground Fighters...as well as the fighters themselves.

And the Dead ISD prop for the Motivator wreck.

 

I think most maps will have a "Campaign Mode" version and a "Skirmish" version...

Interesting idea... I like it...

I never played any RS game, but I saw many things about it and it's missions on Wookieepedia, but I'm sure I'd like RS...

 

Off-topic: MultiplayerStructuresMarkers is really one of the most useful xml to edit if you're a mapper... And man, I hate LucasArts, they only made RS II and III for GameCube -  I go mad every time I see these games in the game store shelf  >:( - and RS I only for N64...

Kothlis has more mountains...

Add more mountains where Geologically logical and it'll be perfect. :)

I'd love to do some mapping like this (Thanks to HK-47 for motivating me :D) but I never really played Rogue squadron... cause i didnt have a N64. I remember being in Walmart playing it for hours when it came out... my neck hurt so bad from looking up...  I cant remember which level it was, you had to bomb like a mining facilty it took place at night.

Ah yea well, I was mapping it based on these two screenshots, not exactly the best... I can't even see the shoreline...only the dead ISD.:

I'll can add more mountains...It's my first time using heightmaps go easy one me...

 

And I think it's my gfx card. Nvidia GeFore4 Mx 440 anyone? (64MB Memory, no shader support. LOLZ!)

The map needs improvemnt as well, but good thing : It plays. It didn't crash. It didn't reboot my computer.

I vividly remember RS III so if you need help ask. As for Kothlis its mostly small islands with green mountains on them. The ISD had a "special" part on it that you had to bomb before the ground forces could get through into the ship to retrive the data, maybe a little coding magic....

It'll be some sort of "building" on it.

This is a very smart idea; when I was doing my Death Star indoor battle (currently, I'm stuck on it), I did a code for a barrack that wouldn't have victory relevant, wouldn't be destroyable, and it used the Tartan Cruiser model - it was in the Hangar Area... But I don't remmember if it worked well, or if it worked, because I didn't finish the rest of the map and I possibly deleted this file when installing a mod...  :P
