Damn this site has slowed down a lot since the crash

I don't know about this forum, but the FOC forums sure has slowed down a lot. Usually getting closer to release it should increase in traffic, but it seems to be getting slower and slower.

Hmmmmm... I think it has slowed down a lot. A lot of people lost their accounts in the screw up and probably didn't bother to register again. That's what Emperor Cheese Man did. When his account got deleted he just gave up on PFF (all of you are probably cheering)

There hasn't been a single post on the forum in about an hour in 15 mins....this is prime posting time.

 

I remember that before the crash I would leave for an hour and come back and there would be tons of stuff to read.

Well there still is and since I made a secret Sub-forum I can do what you said Nevets  ;D Ya PFF was slow but only because I was downloading more anime  : Need more activity on PFF I want to read more stuff.

I think it has about the same amount of posts that it did before, albeit by a smaller number of users perhaps.  It seems to me that there are less users on at one time that there were before but that doesn't seem to be hurting things that much *shrug*.  The Fan Fiction section has died down more than I wanted to see, however...

Lol i have to agree there alot of the members from the summer that were becoming regulars aren't going to be online as much as they're meant to be at school during the day it should pick up nearer the end of October because of the game release and the fact that it'll be Half term and therefore people will have more free time.

 

(well for theose among us that don't work. unlike me i have less and less free time i have to go to 6th form from 8 o'clock - 3.35pm and then twice this week work has called me in at 4 o'clock till 9 o'clock and i'm meant to be part time and yes thats ontop of 7 hour shifts on saturday and sunday! i also have to fit homework in to that time period as well as sociallizing, moderating here and doing something that i consider fun like watching films and such like.

School is the source of all evil.

 

Reasons:

 

1. Schools have more shootings then even Compton. (No offence, Compton ).

 

2. School plotted to kill both Luke & Leia in Ep. 3.

 

3. School is a prison for children & teenagers.

 

4. School laughed when Darth Vader was electricuted.

 

5. School had to catch it's breath when the Emporer fell down that port thingy.

 

6.School likes to give children homework almost everyday.

 

7.Sometimes, kids have to go to School on Saturdays! OH NOES!!!

 

8. School enjoys inprisoning kids for 6 hours or more.

 

9. School laughs (again!) when kids don't have time to play video games.

 

10. School is funding Jack Thompson in order to get rid of violent video games and have only educatiamal video games.

Well it all depends which school you go to but mine is "the sucks" and SWM's school sucks more then mine  : School may seem like a prison since you can't escape its routines (even with parents bugging you) but when you get to high school you have more freedom  ;D. But the sad thing is my highschool is turning elementary like with low budget spending towards education and we get more horrible ignorant "France haters". Sorry but I had to say that since i'm annoyed at bias people who just hate things because of a random stereotype. I also don't care if my grammer is horrible since i'm only focusing on a point @ SWM & Cheese.

 

Stay in school kids  Seriously until you pass High School.  Anywho school is evil when you can't control it but when you do its all tame and a nice place to go to learn and learn about your interests. It maybe evil since its sometimes one sided such as the big bang and global warming but thats why you have "Class discussions" if your school isn't welfare  ;D

haha! my school are fools ive always had access to the PFF i can't access Gamespot from school though...

haha, I work with technology director of my town, and he's centered at high school, I can get access if I want.

There is a better security (antispam) system running on the forums, plus the latest 1.1 RC3 version. But it hasn't slowed down the server any bit. We are still receiving a respectable amount of traffic.

 

If you guys continue to have issues, send me a tracert (traceroute) from your computer to the swrebellion.com host.

Evader its not that the servers slowed down its the traffic to the site and the time it takes to respone the school thing was how Evil School network blocks are.
