Guest Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 maybe they will release it on PC later like they are doing with halo 2. Maybe they want it to be for the 360 to give them an edge in the console war.
Controller Posted October 3, 2006 Author Posted October 3, 2006 do you really beleave that? http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i276/At-At_controller/leetspeak4cz1jr.gif
Guest Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 sure why not? halo is like the best selling game series ever, having halo 3 and halo wars will boost the 360 sales significantly
Jedi Master Tofu Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 (edited) I have problems with Microsoft and their marketing "tactics" I mean come Halo 2 only for VISTA???? RIP OFF!!!!!!!!! 200$ for OS or 400 for xbox360. Edited October 11, 2006 by Jedi Master Tofu "The leading cause of death among fashion models is falling through street grates" - Dave Barry.
Guest Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 It seems really unlikely but maybe halo wars can have space battles? Probably not but it's something to think about. Except that space ships and whatnot don't have much prevalence in the halo games. And Esamble would be going into uncharted territory making anything space oriented..... actually, they already are in uncharted territory making a console game
Controller Posted October 6, 2006 Author Posted October 6, 2006 yeah maybe they should come back into land not further out to sea http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i276/At-At_controller/leetspeak4cz1jr.gif
Eric072691 Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 RTS games have usualy fared far better for the PC than for counsles. Exceptions are TBS games like Fire Emblem, and the like. http://img86.imageshack.us/img86/8752/sigsf6.gifWhen your outnumbered, you've got more targets to shoot AND less chance of missing.

Eric072691 Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 I second that. http://img86.imageshack.us/img86/8752/sigsf6.gifWhen your outnumbered, you've got more targets to shoot AND less chance of missing.
Jedi Master Tofu Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 It's all about the 3D navigation on a map. Trying to make 3D navigation in an RTS ffor a game controller is very hard, becase there also needs to be room for other controls too... Relentless Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 Yeah well it's about time someone tried to come up with a console interace that works as well has the mouse and hotkey system. ...Wii? That probably would work pretty nicely. It bring upon us more of famine, death and war, you know religion has a lot to answer for. -Steve Harris, Iron Maiden
DragonShadow Posted October 21, 2006 Posted October 21, 2006 The Wii's controller might actually work pretty well for an rts...although there aren't enough buttons to really make it all that functional... http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h65/NightshadowDragon/RyuuKageSIG.jpg http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h65/NightshadowDragon/AoSW-JCW_Banner.jpg
