plokoon9619 Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Is he still being planned in the expansion? Also what will you use for his icon since there is no real person actor as him, just comic drawings.
Grand Admiral Thrawn 889 Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Erm we think that Garm Bel Ibis is in without the old posts i can't tell you for definate but he hasn't been in any Screenshots yet. however if i'm remembering right in the new units thread i think Bel Ibis was confirmed. But you may have to wait till a Dev drops by to tell us for definate. (here's a thought have a look round the comunity there maybe confirmation some where else about him.) http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n292/Admiral_Antilles/Thrawncopy.jpghttp://img525.imageshack.us/img525/3269/pffuserbar2globalmodnx9.jpg I Support the Resistance!
Baron_Fel Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 I dont recall anything about him being confirmed, but if he is here they could always use book descriptions for the icon. Grand Admiral Thrawn 889 Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Without giving too much away, the campaign takes you through a wide range of adventures, starting with your attempts to get back at Jabba and unlock the secrets of a strange artifact you've stolen from him. This war with the Hutt eventually leads you to seek out the remnants of Imperial technology floating amidst the ruins of the shattered Death Star, recently destroyed (vincibled?) at the Battle of Yavin. Soon you'll find yourself trying to gain control of a battle droid factory on Hypori, running like hell from a huge group of Rancors on Dathomir, or surreptitiously stealing gas from the tanks on Bespin. Eventually you'll even find yourself fighting against and alongside players from the Galactic Civil War, from the heavy players from the films to the more peripheral folks like IG-88, Thrawn and Garm Bel Iblis. http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n292/Admiral_Antilles/Thrawncopy.jpghttp://img525.imageshack.us/img525/3269/pffuserbar2globalmodnx9.jpg I Support the Resistance!
Nevets Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Pretty good, article, got me more exicted for it then any other article so far. Just this sounds like bad story telling: The result was Tyber Zann, a former Imperial Academy cadet who carries the singular distinction of being "too mean" for the Empire Its a quick fix, its like all the EU writers giving an SSD to their bad guy to make them instantly powerful. Oh and here is a pic of Gram Bel http://pcmedia.ign.com/pc/image/article/732/732344/star-wars-empire-at-war-forces-of-corruption-20060912002949166.jpg
Grand Admiral Thrawn 889 Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 is Bel Ibis a rebel or a Zahnist? cause from the look of Nevets screenie it looks like he's a pirate but then he might have just used Bribe so that would make sense. http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n292/Admiral_Antilles/Thrawncopy.jpghttp://img525.imageshack.us/img525/3269/pffuserbar2globalmodnx9.jpg I Support the Resistance!

It is just the pirates spying on the rebel planet
plokoon9619 Posted September 24, 2006 Author Posted September 24, 2006 The petroglyoh art designer should do icons of tycho and other eu characters for low.
Kelathin Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 If they did it for LoW they would have to do something for every other major mod team just to be fair. They can't selectively choose one team otherwise the community would be in an uproar. Despite LoW being the one to brag about soon to be most cannonly correct. Who knows http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n36/DarkEmpireSPG/kelathin2.jpgI shall Name him MiniMe....
Grand Admiral Thrawn 889 Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 that's true although they could skin them and leave them by accident as a redundant model on the FOC disc they did that with the Venator, Mara's Z-95 headhunter and the Raven's Claw. http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n292/Admiral_Antilles/Thrawncopy.jpghttp://img525.imageshack.us/img525/3269/pffuserbar2globalmodnx9.jpg I Support the Resistance!
Controller Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 (edited) umm as far as i know they didnt put maras Z-95 headhunter. and it was the moldy crow they put on the disc not the ravens claw. wrong ship Edited September 25, 2006 by Grand Admiral Thrawn 889 http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i276/At-At_controller/leetspeak4cz1jr.gif
Grand Admiral Thrawn 889 Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 sorry AT-At Controller, can't always remember the name of his ship. but i thought that they had put the models on the disc because they were going to use them in GC then decided against it i know that they did it with the Venator they didn't remove all the coding for the model just the command coding saying that it is buildable or useable. http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n292/Admiral_Antilles/Thrawncopy.jpghttp://img525.imageshack.us/img525/3269/pffuserbar2globalmodnx9.jpg I Support the Resistance!
Controller Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 yeah the Venator was good to go just change 2 lines if code as with about 3 other ships that were hidden in the code http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i276/At-At_controller/leetspeak4cz1jr.gif
