Exception when loading a saved game

Sometimes when I load a saved game, the game freezes trying to get to it, and once I get back to the desktop using Ctrl+Alt+Delete, there is something that says there was an exception in a file and for more information go to logfile.txt and exception.txt. Has anyone had the same problem and does anyone know how to fix it? I hardly know anything about exceptions and stuff, so any help would be gladly appreciated.

Was it saved while playing a mod that you no longer have installed? Or have had updated? Savegames don't mix well with any changes in the game since their creation.

I haven't done any modding with the game yet. I don't think that it is because of an update either because I had saved the game March 23ish and the last time I updated was patch 1.3

I have the same problem all the time its because i constantly update my mods i think and  dose anyone know why my game keeps freezing when i get near the southern part of the galaxy?
