Hi, I'm AdmarilRyan and this is my first EAW mod.

 

This mod:

 

Adds the CLASS of ship homeone is as a buildable ship. It is more expensive than the normal moncal cruiser and like it can only be built at capital ship fabrication planets.

 

I then copied this ship, tonned done its weapons and shields and called it the Light Mon Calamari Cruiser. It is a Heavy Frigate like the Assualt Frigate, it has 2 ioncannons, 2 turbolasers and 4 lasercannon batteries.

 

All of the mon cal ships have fighter bays loaded with x-wings and y-wings. They do not have targetable shield generators like homeone did. (I have made the shield generator on homeone non-targetable, it also carries a larger compliment of fighters than the none hero mon cal ships.)

 

I have also adjusted the planet XML, so that mon calamari reduces the cost of all three of the cruisers.

 

I have adjusted the skirmish missions to have the new cruisers and the campaign for the cruisers to be disabled until akbar shows up although these two things are untested.

 

So please try the mod and tell me where I have mucked up.

So do Rebels now have super capital ships? It seems lot of changes for Rebellion only.. :-\

it only effects the rebellion at this time but this is my first mod, I only did it to test out some of the things you can do to the game.

 

They get a heaiver calamari cruiser, and a light calamari cruiser that is half way between an assualt frigate and a normal calamari cruiser. All mon cal ships now carry fighters.

You could be interested in my mod for MistenTH mod - it changes few things so the game is more balanced. It also includes rebellion X-Wings on all frigates/capitals.

wth is that supposed to mean? Is that an insult against my modding. This is the forth game I've modded, I have made a one race mod here but it is still balenced.

Not to everyone else I do realise that this is both highly insulting and most likely against forum rules, but then when you have some halfwit come online and not know the difference, it does make a person laugh at the mentality (or lack of therein) that this person purveys.

ook is that a yes or no you dont have to go insulting me and saying your kid 3 years younger than my self is smarter  and secondly i wanted to submit your mod on cheathappens.com from there you can find cheat codes, game mods and etc...

Appologies Clonecommander. The thing is, its not a cheat of any sort. Its a mod (not the same thing). A mod changes items directly in the game and its well know that all parties do require the same files to play against each other. Unfortunately cheats are something which people can use directly against others to overly beef up units etc.etc.

hey i suggest you fix this mod because of it my game keeps crashing. i think its the hardpoint folder causing the probs
