Multiplayer save issue

I have a problem with saved multiplayer games. In the game setup screen it only shows some of the saved games. I know the saved games are still on my computer because once in game, when I save, they show up. Too bad the load button doesnt work. This happend a few weeks ago and the game refused to recognize any saves after 3/8/06. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game. That fixed the problem until 3/25/06 - now its doing it again. Any help would be greatly appreciated. ???

Ive now found that if I send a save file to my friend that the game will reappear in the game setup screen. The only problem is that when we start the game it will show him my forces, not his. So Im thinking there must be some variable in the file that identifies which faction youre playing. Other than that I would think the files should be identical. So my question is: does anyone know how to view and/or edit save files?
