I have put the planets that are in; I'm working on the starting units, but what I need help with, is how to change the start up info at the beggining of the conquest. To explain the story and objective. I have been looking through the files for a few hours, not finding a trace. The closest lead that I think is: # in STORY_SANDBOX_#_REBEL/EMPIRE.XML. Changing the value changes the start up info. My question is: How would I change the start up info at the beggining of a Galactic Conquest? (Note: My conquest doesn't include new planets. It just uses the existing ones.)
DragonShadow Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 Hmm. If you look at those xml files, and make a similar one named for your campaign and reference it, then it should work okay. Killer_Jaguar Posted March 25, 2006 Author Posted March 25, 2006 I copied STORY_SANDBOX_35_REBEL/EMPIRE.XML for my conquest. Then I changed the location for all the heroes. I want to know where the # links to. That way, I can hopefully change the info at the start.
