Rebels are Rebels, aren't they?

While playing EAW one might come to the conclusion that the Rebels were not exactly Rebels ( with guerillia style) , but a mere Empire of their own with own exclusive ship types, a lot of troops...

 

I made a "small" mod, which will be Part of a bigger mod later on, in which they are rebels

to demonstrate what i mean, I post this video to let you get a feel how ground "battles" should be like when playing rebels, and how its gonna be implemented in my mod.

*sigh* Oh, how I hate rapidshare.

 

Maybe you and the other people should start uploading their files at some place where people can actually access them. yousendit.com for example - it lets you upload stuff with file-sizes up to 1 GB and then presents you with a link you can send around to people. The file stays there downloadable for anybody without any waiting time for about 7 days before it automatically gets deleted.

put your video on Google Video  ;D If you upload it over night then it should be up at about 2 pm  or if you put it up at 3 pm it should be up by 5 or 6 pm  ;D Also all you have to do is just click the link and enjoy  Gonna check your video out anyways  :

EXACTLY. As released, ground combat is a horrible, close-quarters, mind-numbing RTS twitchfest. PLEASE keep developing this mod.

 

The Rebels needs to fight differently than the Empire, or else it's just a Star Wars skinned RTS snooze, instead of the worthly sequel to Rebellion it could be, with sufficient modification.

Yeah, I haven't seen any problems with rapidshare's speeds...unless the complainer is running off one of the T-line internet connections.
