Interesting / Dave is still balanceing Petroglyph Updates soon after release with LEC updates. Still I don't exactly understand what it is to support there ?! We do have our feedback forums that are visited by all the devs from petroglyph. LEC does not do fixes for EAW they just send the feedback to petro / by they I mean Dave / this is how things were before the release when I had more time online / and I suspect this is the case now. I think that we should concentrate in continueing our feedbacking here useing the system of bug reporting that I see installed. From what I remember from old discussions reporting a bug is only half the way if you don't post steps to reproduce that bug. It might be good having two different forums with two different ways of feedback. Although I don't know how bad it is there. It shows that people really need a patch, but ours help will make the next patch better and not rushed. There will always be complainers like those of the LucasArts forum. Delphi-PG Posted March 12, 2006 Share Posted March 12, 2006 I think that we should concentrate in continuing our feedbacking here useing the system of bug reporting that I see installed. From what I remember from old discussions reporting a bug is only half the way if you don't post steps to reproduce that bug. And the community has been very helpful, expect to see some good stuff (connectivity updates, ladder,etc) in 1.03. We'll also be releasing a new MP map Corellia (land) using the single-player reinforcement system. It really changes up the way the game plays. We also have an official 43 planet campaign, that should make it into the patch too. One thing to keep in mind, chances are there will still be bugs that slip through after the 1.03 release. Especially those who really do need a lesson in how to post without making an ass of themselves. As for the current state of things?? Well whilst I don't play online myself, I'm quite happy with my purchase of the game. Its still one of the three I have currently installed and play regularly, and thats how it'll stay for some time. I am looking forward to the next update, but unlike some (who shall rename nameless at this point), am patient enough to wait. Besides, I've seen no end of dev teams not even interacting with the communities they produce for, and at least Delphi continues to post, even if its only for something minor. Discussions can be about anything other than the game (EAW) and they won't do anything. On the first page there is 2 topics about civ3 and galactic civ2 what have these to do with EAW? And there is dozens of threads basically slagging of EAW no reason just threads that go 'EAW is crap' ,they even have threads were people have stated they are using a pirated copy and the thread has not been locked. There are certain Flamers who need to be sorted out on that forum. It may just be that Moose, Catch22, Mike and Dave need more support but certain LEC forum members wouldn't last 2 minutes on PFF or LoW. Dork....Relevance for those 3 points??? Anyhow, Most forums go through Growing pains. I've seen it on PFF and LEC. And how did you make the attack work? There's no bones in the Death Star model to attach it to. I tried hexing a bone in and it just crashed the game. I posted a video from the demo of me doign the campaign and what do I see? It gets locked. For what? I'm advertising the game they're selling not something else and they say I should follow the rules. Ok I looked at the rules and it said nothing about advertising videos.
