Fixed the Zhar issue.. However the Bakura one is plexing... all the text entries are there..and the .XML file is pointing to them correctly.

Hey.

 

Good modification.

 

But man ... it runs slow even on my system, which I can safely say is powerful (AMD 64 X2 4400+, 2GB Memory, ATi X1800 XL).

 

I think there's maybe just a bit too many planets actually. Would it be possible to make a "reduced version" of it ? Maybe like 55 planets, and a also perhaps less trade routes ?

 

Am I the only one experiencing slow gameplay with this mod anyway ?

No it slows a bit after a while... As the Rebels take planets... it gets slower. Still playable.... I wanted to do 80 planets.. but the gameplay would be too slow.  Yes I may make a smaller mod...

Well if you are, thanks for considering making a reduced/smaller version.

 

Cause, ya know, the mod itself is great, no other complaints then it just gets too slow after only 15 to 20 minutes of game-play. And that isn't good to me, since when I do have time to play the game, I can easily play for more than two or three hours non-stop.

I haven't had any problems lag wise. There are still a few other planetary descriptions messed up I'll get back to ya and let you know just got home and will start playing and looking again all in all i like more planets even thogh they are almost the same as others but who cares more planets to sqaush the Tratious Rebel Uprising ;D.

Sarron2of4, you're telling us that you do not have any noticeable slow downs at all ?

 

Not even after a few hours of game-play ?

 

If so, please post your system's specifications, so I can upgrade mine !  :-x

I've noticed that while there is lag, its not terrible. It usually occurs when switching from a space map or land map battle and just sometimes, hyperspacing units really crawl along.

 

One thing, i've noticed. I don't know if its just in my copy, but Kamino, while present on the map, its description information is missing, or more likely not referenced as i know Kamino is in the game, and it won't allow building of any ground units. Being a water world, this may be intentional but i thought the ground map from Manaan or Mon Calamari was likely to be used instead?

 

I'll make the changes in my own copy, but others might not know how.

Yes, Kamino was a planet that the designers did not make a ground map for. its a aquatic world. I thought about using Mon Cal's ground maps... but decided against it. I will fix Kaminos info stuff tonight...  there. Also.. I will make some other fixes... as well. Im going to spread out the planets a bit more.
